Love Brons poise to come back 3-1 but a great should have never been in that position to begin with. I'm not going to knock another man's performance because he didn't put his team in a hole losing 3 out of the first 4 games
That's true. I agree with you.

But why do people knock getting to the finals and losing? I'm not saying you do that, but it's a common mindset.

:scust:So quick to say someone is HATING. It’s not hate, it’s a difference of opinion. Calm down sporty.

You talking clutch SHOTS, I’m talking clutch SERIES play. And none of those clutch shots BAILED MJ out from elimination. Now did they?:sas2:

But Bron is the only one who has had a teammate hit a clutch shot late right? :mjlol:

nikkas hate so much they forget NBA history :dead:

You’re really comparing a spot up shooter in Paxson to Kyrie who creates his own shot and averaged 27ppg in that series? Show me when Paxson had a 40pt playoff game :jbhmm:

I didn’t even look, but I’m not even sure he scored 30 in a playoff game. I know that game 5 against the Lakers, he went off.

And needed Kyrie to 28ppg and take all the big shots to beat an injured and suspended Warriors squad

:dead:

Why lie?

Bron outscored Kyrie 11 to 5 in the 4th quarter of Game 7 and 17 to 1 in the 4th quarter of Game 6. Last 7:15 of Game 7, Bron scored EVERY point for the Cavs other than Kyrie's 3. In the last 5:30 of the game, he scored more points (7) than everyone else on both teams combined (5), plus had the biggest block in Finals history.

In terms of injuries:

Cavs

Love concussed Game 2, missed Game 3, ineffective rest of the series (6.8ppg on 30% FG and 21% 3pt from Games 2 through 7)
Mosgov never recovered from surgery and was completely ineffective all series (1.4ppg on 33% FG after averaging 14ppg on 55% in the 2015 Finals)
Shump couldn't recover from his shoulder injury and was useless all series (3ppg on 30% shooting, 27% from 3pt)

Warriors

Draymond missed one game, perfectly healthy the rest of the series
Bogut missed 2.5 games, perfectly healthy the rest of the series
Iggy had back pain for two games

Cavs had injuries to the same players that the Warriors did, only the Cavs were dealing with those all series while the Warriors only had to deal with it a couple games. Warriors fans were just taken by surprise that they had the same injury issues as their opponent for once, after being used to having a massive advantage in that department.

Cause if you are an all time great with a team good enough to get to the finals multiple times then you should win more times than not

Just total nonsense. Beating the 2018 Celtics doesn't automatically mean you can beat the 2018 Warriors too. There's no correlation there at all.

By your logic, any "All-time Great" should have won at least 6 of Bron's Finals appearances. Well, Magic Johnson is an all-time great, right? So tell me, if you replace LeBron with Magic, how many of the following years does he win?

2007
2011
2012
2013
2014
2015
2016
2017
2018
2020

I'll be waiting for an objective answer. :comeon:

Only if Jordan had a Kyrie to post bail :whew:

Doesn't make any sense, MJ + Kyrie would be a terrible pairing. They would just take touches and shots away from each other.

And Bron had combined 28 points in the 4th quarters of Games 6/7. Kyrie had just six points combined.

Paxson was a very clutch shooter, but he's still just a 5th option that year. MJ also had Pippen, Grant, and BJ, all of whom went for 20+ in at least one game that series (Pippen did it four times). MJ had plenty of offensive options, but overall their ppg was going to be limited because MJ was taking a ton of shots (33 shots per game that series) against Phoenix's weak-ass defense.
