It's a top 10 favorite movie of all time for me, not just this genre. I still remember my dad telling me about the basic plot of the movie (human infertility) and being like "
that sounds interesting" then he bought it on HD-DVD (
) and I decided to give it a watch, I was in pure
and
status
the blood splatter on the lens in the tracking shot
I think the unedited tracking shot is something like 8 minutes, but just like in Inarritu's Birdman, the cuts are hidden INSANELY well. Emmanuel Lubezki is fukking incredible and I will watch ANY movie he does. It was the movie that really made me take Clive Owen seriously as an actor, and who would've thought he'd end up becoming Cocaine Thack
and Ejiofor was also great in that movie.
