Yup. Time to think outside of the box. Which is why I wanted to do a best actor thing and of course I know the best comic book flick is coming. I just think it needs to chill for a second. The best films of 2014 might be cool because we will all think differently. Like John Wick will be on my list I can't say for sure it'll be on any other list and that's cool

I thought of an idea of a best comic book characters on film...It's a wider selection since it covers all of the characters of all of the films, and a little different

I like these ideas. Especially the actor comeback movies, but, I wonder if there is enough of those movies to have varied lists

It's a top 10 favorite movie of all time for me, not just this genre. I still remember my dad telling me about the basic plot of the movie (human infertility) and being like ":ehh: that sounds interesting" then he bought it on HD-DVD (:lolbron:) and I decided to give it a watch, I was in pure :ohhh: and :wow: status the blood splatter on the lens in the tracking shot :lawd: I think the unedited tracking shot is something like 8 minutes, but just like in Inarritu's Birdman, the cuts are hidden INSANELY well. Emmanuel Lubezki is fukking incredible and I will watch ANY movie he does. It was the movie that really made me take Clive Owen seriously as an actor, and who would've thought he'd end up becoming Cocaine Thack :wow: and Ejiofor was also great in that movie.
The blood splats on the lense just made the film even more visceral:wow:

...take Clive, Julianne, and Caine out the film, and it looks like a real documentary of the future:ohhh:

All thanks to that Based cinematography, and single-shot sequences:mindblown:
