edit: This actually brings up something that bothers me about the old films. Yea, everyone had force powers and whatnot. Yea that shyt was/is cool. While the fighting was fencing-esque, and took cues from eastern action, it didn't really have the aggression from either.

i saw it first on some DVD rip avi in the mid 00s on my 17 inch monitor in college
also think we watched it in film class in like 09
i have the blu now though and will watch soon. I've been dying to give it a re watch.

It's a top 10 favorite movie of all time for me, not just this genre. I still remember my dad telling me about the basic plot of the movie (human infertility) and being like "Children of Men doesn't get enough accolades
that sounds interesting" then he bought it on HD-DVD (
) and I decided to give it a watch, I was in pure and status the blood splatter on the lens in the tracking shot I think the unedited tracking shot is something like 8 minutes, but just like in Inarritu's Birdman, the cuts are hidden INSANELY well. Emmanuel Lubezki is fukking incredible and I will watch ANY movie he does. It was the movie that really made me take Clive Owen seriously as an actor, and who would've thought he'd end up becoming Cocaine Thack and Ejiofor was also great in that movie.EarlyMaridia

i think it depends on which cut u watch, the first time i saw it i got lost or wasn't paying enough attention. i saw the director's cut and was
