True, but what the hurt the film is the sequels...once you found out what the cube was, it totally ruins the fun of the first one. I like the mystery around it; no explanation needed; then those stupid ass sequels had to explain what it was (like Rob Zombie's garbage ass halloween remakes, etc.)...just leave the mystery in the air!The Cube's isolation, desperation, and process of elimination is GOAT status

Ridley didn't tell any of the cast what was going to happen, their reactions are authenticThe thing that got me about that scene wasn't just the alien, but the fact that homie's body is still twitching after it pops out of his chest. It's such a small detail to pay attention too, but it sells it even more.
