them old star trek movies getting no love though
thought i'd at least see 1 wrath of khan

i had the ghostbusters ghost fighting backpack pack or w/e it was and the bobby brown single on tape
and I sang "go ninja, go ninja go" along with my classmates for my kindergarten graduation wearing fake turtle shells
we still have it on tape somewherei also had the dikk tracy watch walkie talkies
wrath of khan is dope, but i actually like JJ Abrams' first reboot better than all those old star trek movies.

Breh I had that watch..and the proton pack..and the ghostbusters 2 soundtrack on vinyl along with the batman soundtrack and the turtle power single on vinyl. Played all three of them on my fisher price record player.

Into darkness was kinda meh, not bad, but the first is such an inspired movie. With into darkness it literally seemed like he was trying to show people that he could do a star wars film (some scenes reminded me so much of star wars). That first reboot movie is great, good rewatchability too, the actors/actresses they casted are so fukking spot on. Good humor too. I really really dig that first Star Trek reboot he did.
You missing out breh. No need to be scared lol. If you don't like em, just act ignore them. They don't trample on anything that cam before but they definitely aren't as brainy as anything that's come before
I'm not a huge star trek fan boy, but I don't see how any fan of star trek wouldn't like the first reboot Abrams did. On all levels, its pretty god damn good. I almost put it in my HM
I'm not a fan boy either but I am a bit of a fan not a huge one but a bit and from what I hear from other hardcore fans, they don't think the films are smart enough

Basically, and I can attest to this just from the Trek I have seen (mostly next generation), the series normally does what a lot of good Sci Fi does and incorporate social commentary into the narrative and a lot of heady stuff. I love the movies so I don't have that complaint but I see where they're coming from. I just don't give a damn
