you dont wanna let it go because white talking heads on espn tell you the defenses are faster...no they just know their assignment better and have less field to cover
when you know where the offense is going, and have 4 yards less to cover on the field(individually) you will react quicker.
its a myth that the spread doesnt work in the NFL because of defenses, it doesnt work because of the rules
same reason why an offense like the A-11 doesnt work in college...the hash marks
