:snoop: 10milly per for a nikka who ain't played in da league for a year in a half

He wasn't exactly sitting on his ass doing nothing. He was in CSKA Moscow winning MVP of Euroleague.

When They Made That Pick They Had No Center

Shoulda Took Kanter

Actually the pick I wanted was Jonas Valanciunas, but I understood why they didn't pick him (they weren't gonna put people through another Ricky Rubio saga so soon). I woulda took that chance, but again, I understand. I wouldn't have been all that upset with Kanter, but he's not an ideal fit alongside Kevin Love. He's not a good enough defender to play alongside Love. Valanciunas woulda been the pick if not for his buyout situation.

Ultimately the reason why they passed up Kanter is because they realized they already had a center on the roster who could do everything Kanter does. That turned out to be Nikola Pekovic.

Only for two years...with a player option for next year :win:

Batum and Gerald Wallce are getting 10m LONG TERM

AK-47 is 31 been on the all defensive team 3 times and an allstar Wallace nor Batum have those credentials breh

Edit: I just realized we only have two black players on the team :wtf: lol

:comeon:
Gerald Wallce is a better player then AK47
Gerald Wallce has better stats then AK47
Gerald Wallce also went to an allstar
Gerald Wallce also was all defensive team

 -back at cha :takedat:

Woodson is really a smart coach that realized that the Knocks? are best suited for floor spacing and scoring areas, rather than traditional NBA positions.

C = Camby, etc (based on foul trouble, free throw shooting)
PF = Tyson, Novak (offense or defense)
SF = JR, Novak (matchup based 3pt shooters)
SG = Melo is #1 post-up option, from the perimeter game
PG = Shump, (Kidd is change of pace and slowdown PG)

If Melo can shed extra weight and be slim and dangerous like he used be to the Knocks might make a impact in the East next season, Lin was irrelevant to their new look for 2012.

Melo is going to be like a Mashburn/Barkley/Richmond as a #1 option, picking where he wants to setup shop based on the flow of the game. Almost like a Randy Moss ratio in the NBA.

Phil Jackson called the Knocks a "clumsy roster" = incapable or running a floor spacing triangle offense.

Dantoni felt restricted by the front office, he couldnt run his fast break hybrid offense like he wanted to with the old roster.

DWill on YES in NYC will look like an prodigy all-star candidate with the new NETS LINEUP + Olympics marketing + spoon fed offense gameplan to get team morale and chemistry uplifted.

The Knocks HAVE to come out of the gate with a crisp gameplan in order to justify their new MSG cable package, they renovated MSG = raise season ticket rates, if the Knocks start slow next season, in this recession cable subscribers will drop out in droves and watch Knocks games online or NOT AT ALL. This is the key reason the Knocks didnt overpay for J.Lin.
