I doubt it. Now that this nikka is saying he's gonna pursue free agency regardless of where he's traded why would Brooklyn give up assets for him when they're a top 4 team in the east? I bet you the deal they eventually end up accepting is worse than what they could've had if they traded him on draft night.

He wouldn't leave Brooklyn. He would just wait until free agency so he could sign a longer deal. I think he'd do the same with the Lakers or any decent team that got him. I don't know if that could be said for Houston but that extra year is going to be a big deal, especially for someone coming off back surgery.

A few months down the road, the Lakers would be more than happy to give up Bynum and the Nets would be more than happy to give up Brook Lopez and Marshon Brooks, etc.

Orlando is going to get screwed on this deal no matter what happens. They're losing a top player and getting nothing close in return. Whoever ends up with Dwight has the inside track in getting a long term contract with him so if he gets desperate and starts adding more teams to his wish list, that only helps the Magic.

Because if they get Dwight they'll be a better team.

Obviously a lot of folks are getting caught up on the "Test free agency" comment. All that shyt means is they're not going to sign an extension.

"signing an extension" is NOT the same thing as "resigning".

Goes to show just how full of shyt Orlando is. The current deals being offered to them are actually better than the one they were talking to Brooklyn about.

:comeon: fukk outta here with ur BULLshyt

brook Lopez & marshon brooks >>> anderson varojao
plus magic get 4 1st rounders instead of 3 1st rds
plus we take on more contract

u lakers fans :smh: -the only reason ur in this position is D12 opting in & our GM trading cap space for joe fukking johnson

Dwight should accept full responsibility for all this shyt. You can't please everyone you fukking retard. You know your ass didn't want to be in Orlando and you still decided to opt in like the sucker(people all in his ear) that you are. There's children who are better decision makers than this dude.

Brook Lopez would have been signed to a MAX deal. Verajao's contract is smaller and shorter which would make him easier to trade later.

The first rounders from Brooklyn wouldn't be worth much since their team would be a top 3 seed every year with Dwight and Deron. The first round picks being offered by Houston and Cleveland are sure to be much better.

Every deal being proposed would have Orlando shedding the same bad contracts.

Orlando (supposedly) want small contracts, young cheap talent, and GOOD draft picks.

Yea but when they say they're goin to "test free agency" that mean they are goin to sign elsewhere rather than resign

No it doesn't.

Deron Williams said the exact same thing.

Chris Paul has been saying the same thing but the odds of him leaving the Clippers are slim to none.

Joe Johnson said that same shyt while he was playing in Atlanta.

That "testing free agency" shyt is just a bargaining term.

Are you retarded breh?

The opt-in is the ONLY reason for this.

:what: fall back

if billy king dosnt trade & take on joe johnson salary -we would have still had cap space to sign D12 in 2013
In which no other team would even risk trading for him ei. Hou / LA etc... because we all know where he wants to play

so if D12 is not a net I'm blaming billy!!!

If Dwight hadn't opted into his contract like a dumbass they wouldn't have even needed to sign Joe Johnson. Dwight could have been a free agent RIGHT NOW if not for his own stupidity.

If you didn't say retarded shyt people wouldn't be calling you retarded. :russ:

Lopez is 7foot 24yo career avg 18 & 7 (60 mill for 4yrs left)
Varjeao is 6'10 30yo career avg 9 & 7 (28 mill for 3yrs left)

cavs will get Bynum with kryrie that's a playoff team as well it really no differences between an 6th seed draft pick to a 3rd seed

plus all reports say da lakers will not take on extra contracts as wil as da cavs, my nets & rocket are the only teams willing to take on magic salaries

to each is own... But everybody I heard NON nets fans say our deal is much better
