I doubt it. Now that this nikka is saying he's gonna pursue free agency regardless of where he's traded why would Brooklyn give up assets for him when they're a top 4 team in the east? I bet you the deal they eventually end up accepting is worse than what they could've had if they traded him on draft night.
He wouldn't leave Brooklyn. He would just wait until free agency so he could sign a longer deal. I think he'd do the same with the Lakers or any decent team that got him. I don't know if that could be said for Houston but that extra year is going to be a big deal, especially for someone coming off back surgery.
A few months down the road, the Lakers would be more than happy to give up Bynum and the Nets would be more than happy to give up Brook Lopez and Marshon Brooks, etc.
Orlando is going to get screwed on this deal no matter what happens. They're losing a top player and getting nothing close in return. Whoever ends up with Dwight has the inside track in getting a long term contract with him so if he gets desperate and starts adding more teams to his wish list, that only helps the Magic.
