No its the equivalence to the thunder trading westbrook for expiring contracts and high lottery picks to sign both harden and ibaka and yes they would be a un-loyal franchise. free agents damn sure wouldnt sign there knowing you can be traded any minute while being productive.
It's not the same.
Westbrook is in a completely different level than Noah. Trading Noah for expirings and a lotto pick isn't the same as trading an elite player for expirings and a lotto pick.
And outside of Rose, Deng and Noah are the only two with value.
And Deng should definitely be traded before Noah.
Anytime people bring up the D-Wade & that "un-loyal" bullshyt he was spewing, it's obvious you don't know what he was talking about when he said it, which means you didn't read the article. He was talking about when players on the Bulls leave the Bulls & they have no role on the team, specifically Michael & Scottie. Not about Bulls trading players current players to improve the team. Either way, Wade was wrong, b/c we signed Scottie at the end of his career & he's a part of the organization. Bill Wennington is on Bulls radio, Randy Brown was on the Bulls coaching staff, Pete Meyers was an assistant for years, Bill Cartwright was an assistant & then our head coach. Michael Jordan is still worshiped til this very day. I can go on and on. Wade didn't know what the fukk he was talking about. And it's funny he said all that b/c he was strongly considering coming back home. So stop it with this loyalty bullshyt.
Yup. The Bulls first coach ever, Johnny Red Kerr worked for the team until damn near his death. Norm Van Lier, same thing. Pax went from player, to assistant coach to VP. Jerry Sloan was a coach here.
Kendall Gill played for us for like 2 years and still works with the team. Adrian Griffin was an assistant coach. BJ Armstrong was the assistant GM for Krause until he left to become an agent. Bob Love has been an ambassador for years. Stacey King is a commentator.
MJ isn't with the organization because he wanted to buy the team. Not on some Magic, I'll take 2%, but the whole team.
Wade says that but what former Heat players work with them now. Zo as an ambassador and Keith Askins?
