the combination of any of these 2 guards we can pick up for dirt cheap and get the same production if not better from these guards who will be available this off season.

if thibs can coach the dudes we had here up, i def think he can coach these guy to respectable defenders who play well with the core that will still be here

red222, on the ACL injury front, if you want a bit of foreshadowing, Rubio's been off crutches for a while and pretty much can walk without the brace with no issue. Now it's just a matter of strengthening the knee before you gotta do drills. Same thing with Rose over the summer.

The Bulls should try to sign Jerryd Bayless, might as well try to get Kirk Hinrich who can still shoot and is a solid defender, even though its not Chicago Kirk, but he is cool. Might as well get Nate Robinson, the dude plays for every team, so might as well get him to play back-up. Also, if I was the Bulls, I would try to see if they can trade Boozer to the Pistons, and fukk it and try to get Charlie V and bring back Ben Gordon too lol and you can just have Taj be the starting 4, but its just a suggestion, even though it ain't gonna happen, but that does sound nice as long as anyone picks up and wants Boozer's contract

thats what it really is all about

rose likely wont suffer another set back in his career and will be pretty healthy for the remainder of it

this is about putting some pieces around him that can legitimately compete for a ring.

if we go back to some mediocre piece of sh1t azz team just happy to get in the playoffs all because jerry afraid of 5-10 mill more dollars in tax ill never forgive this franchise. and rose would only be wise at that time to leave.

I had 5 sources confirm the Bulls and Rockets were talking trade at some point towards deadline to now. One was Sam Smith. John/Ralph were another. My understanding here combining all the sources information together is that:

- The Bulls want Lowry
- The Bulls still like Lee
- The Bulls liked Budinger
- The Bulls were talking to the Rockets about #14, #16
- The Rockets liked Gasol
- The Rockets liked Deng
- The Rockets liked Asik

Maybe we can work a 3 way deal with them involving Gasol, Watson, Deng, Lowry, Scola, #14, #16.

taj has to be kept here. we would be putting our self in serious danger having only boozer there to rely on at the 4 position.
