With just the 29th pick in Thursday's NBA draft, the Bulls appear to be gauging two paths, weighing which might open a new championship window quicker.

They can stand pat with the core that produced the best regular-season record in consecutive seasons, mindful Rose and Deng will return at full strength at some point and a big opportunity for change comes in the summer of 2014? Or they could try to accelerate the process of finding another star with a trade into this year's lottery?

Forgot about Barton. Dude can ball. Lamb's the better shooter (more consistent), Barton is better defensively. Can't go wrong either way.

On top of the D Rose injury they still havent fixed the lack of having another go to scorer on the team. Noah and Deng are the only moveable pieces they have, Noah moreso than Deng. Id love trading the Kings #5 pick for Noah it would instantly put that team in the hunt to right that ship out west.

eh big man like noah are easily replaceable, i guarantee if you give 90% of nba big men 30 minutes a game you will get 10 points and about 9 boards a game
