yea that sounds good, but still though the Bulls have been on the come up the past 2 seasons and looked like they were gonna be a consistent top 2-3 team in the league for the immediate future in the NBA. But, to clear up cap space and the luxury tax issue, it sounds good on paper, but you may not be sure if you are gonna get enough in return if you trade Deng, The dude is a top 5-6 SF in the game and the Bulls best wing defender and the hardest working dude on the team, so you gotta hope that who you get in return helps leads the Bulls to the finals because the squad with Rose and the current roster is an ECF team already, so if you gonna take a risk, it has to work and get the Bulls in the finals or else its gonna be a flop imo. Also, if the Bulls win a championship, Deng should be apart of it, the dude was holding the team down for the longest time and has finally started to get appreciated for his game. So if you gonna take that risk, it has to lead to a championship or a finals run or its a flop imo.
there isn't anything out there that doesn't come with risk including a Howard trade so to me selling high on a guy who is good at alot but has peaked is worth getting a top 10 pick, salary relief and a player in return that isn't a tank move if it improves a squad that at its peak could win 1 title if we caught a break.

IDK Deng is only like 27-28, but imo if you are gonna make a trade, the only guy I would be looking at trading for is Dwight. But, I don't think he will go there nor wants to go there. But, the Bulls have Thibbs as a coach so maybe he can help mask the weaknesses of whoever gets traded to the Bulls. But, if the Bulls are willingly to take the risk, at least they are trying something, but they better hope it works though, and that might bit a lot of pressure for the people who gets traded for Deng and for the Bulls organization, so they gotta deliver or else the front office personal is gonna get shytted on by the whole NBA world.

a top 5 pick and a player with talents this team has been missing is a great deal for deng.

i dont mind moving any of these nikkas if a great deal on the table. besides boozer who im willing to trade old comic books for at this point

or again we could flip that pick for a really good player.

bulls could potentially have 2 ball handlers who can create they own shot next to rose. add that with elite coaching and elite front court, and use our other assets to sure up the bench and we right back into contention.

i hear a lot about reke not being able to shoot. or barnes not being all that. screw that they have raw talents. and that you cant teach. and if thibs can coach up brewer, korver, cj watson and john lucas the damn 3rd to a respectable place then he can make all stars out of some dudes with legit talent.

"There's no way Beal slips out of the top four," said one league source. The Cleveland Cavaliers will draft him if he's available at four.

Executives are falling in love with Bradley Beal. Teams are trying to trade into the top four to select Beal, according to multiple sources.
could be us not sure

We want the Full MLE
- We want to remain under the Luxury Tax
- We want picks back
- We need 2nd Rd Picks to fill our bench
- We don't want to sign that many Vets (Per my Source)
- We need a Starting PG
- We need a Backup PG (Per my Source though, Bulls have apparently said Lucas III is locked in and ready to resign and they'll make him the backup 1 next year)

I'd be really, really shocked if anything significant happened...

....Deng for Evans/5 is a come up tho..

if the bulls pull the trigger on reke and the 5, tyreke is basically a rental player right? cuz we ain't paying him 8 figures to stay after this year right?

truth be told, I'd trade deng for the #5 in itself due to the amount of cap flexibility we'd get out of that deal.

hold up, are the Bulls really gonna plan to tank the 2012-2013 season forreal?

When is D-Rose slated to return? I know he is gonna miss a year, but damn its like that, shyt got real in Chi-Town. I still think they would be a top 4 team in the regular season w/o D-Rose imo, but damn trading Deng.

d-rose ain't missing a year. he's already walking. I think he's back between xmas and new years. I been sayin this all along.

look at adrian peterson. his knee injury was much worse than drose's and he's already planning on getting back for the regular season and is already running fast as hell again.

Damnit brehs we need Boozer to fall in the Chicago River or something. :noah:

Not feeling that trade. We lose Deng and Gibson.

losing gibson would suck, but if u get the #2 plus evans, then u :win:

plus the cap relief when u factor in reke as an expiring (therefore an easily tradeable asset) and losing deng.

Drose will be back around the ASB. He'll have 2 months or so to get into the swing of things and hopefully be ready to ball out in the playoffs.

They should ABSOLUTELY pull the trigger if we have a deal in place centering around Deng, Tyreke/5th pick.

I think they can fix John Lucas over dribbling and decision making only issue is dude is too small. Rondo puts buddy in the post everytime he sees him out there. He doesn't fit defensively...he just a scorer with that pitbull mentality..

my guess would be they believe they can keep john lucas for cheaper

and they plan on picking up another pg who will start for a few months and play back up when rose gets back. so one of john lucas or cj would have to go and john lucas is cheaper.
