boogydown wrote:Been busy. Kinda drained. Here are some things:

- Bulls apparently are willing to offer a deal to JR Cadot. The guy isn't listed in any mock drafts. I know nothing about this guy. Anyone can shed some light on this guy? I assume we'd sign him as "undrafted".

- The Bulls apparently have interest in Kevin Garnett. I am being told that the Bulls are for moving Carlos Boozer for backcourt help if Kevin Garnett is willing to sign here. He said Kevin Garnett has interest in joining the Bulls and "money doesn't matter anymore, he has money but "wants to finish his career winning". Whatever happens he said Garnett will play on a true contender next year finishing his career.

- Seems many teams who we were proposing Deng trades like the Raptors are slowly moving away from that and starting to like specific guys in this draft. Think it's more likely everyone keeps their picks rather than everyone trying to trade their picks. It's like this every year and the main reason behind it is it's just easier for people to draft someone and be done with it rather than deal with drama and trade complications.

- More on Garnett. Basically the Bulls need a green light from Garnett. Was specifically told that if Garnett said he was willing to come here, the Bulls wouldn't hesitate.

- I am being told teams do have interest in Carlos Boozer but very few (no shock).

- Pistons want to keep their pick. They like Meyers Leonard. Any Deng proposals for him aren't likely. The Pistons want to keep using draft picks for young youth while maintaining a core group.

- Tyshawn Taylor impressed the Bulls. There is a chance this guy could be our pick at #29. Also know nothing about him.

- Bulls have expressed chatter around the league with a few starting PG's next year. As already mentioned, two of those guys was Devin Harris and Jason Kidd.

- As mentioned yesterday, the Bulls like Doron Lamb.

- Heard the Bulls are expected to make Thibs one of the highest paid coaches in the NBA.

- Hearing Harrison Barnes was actually more in talk. Originally I disputed the Bulls are just "chatting". Apparently, they really like the guy.

- When I asked about Tony Wroten Jr, he said the Bulls drafting this guy even if he falls to them will never happen. They aren't impressed at all in him and apparently he has an attitude issue. Yesterday I commented on how I would pick him at #29. My opinions are clearly not always right. I don't know much about this guy.

- Bulls did like Andrew Nicholson (did they ever work this guy out because I am being told they did?) but they said he'll likely go before #29.

all credit to boogeydown from realgm
- Being told the Paxson/Gar have been getting a lot of pressure on moving Deng. He said that he has never received so many e-mails about people wanting to trade Deng even when he was injured. Said there is no doubt Paxson and Gar have strongly considered it and believes the fan base does help give Paxson and Gar ideas (wonder if they read REALGM?)

- Heard the Bulls do plan to resign John Lucas III to a reasonable deal. How come I don't hear this about Watson, Brewer, and Korver? Yeah we know why.

- The final news of the day is a very interesting one. Apparently there has been talks about the Bulls acquiring the 2nd overall Pick. The Bobcats want their pick back. I have no clue who else is involved right now. Any reason why the Bulls would want the 2nd Pick Overall?

Drummond?

No it wasn't the Bobcats Pick for the #2. Just said the Bobcats want their pick back and the #2 is apparently being involved in some way. I can't see any deal being made with the Bobcats unless a 3rd team is involved and that will be difficult. Also, Cho is not the easiest GM to deal with. He tends to win trades.
