dont like the idea of them giving up Deng. he's one of those true "glue guys" true definition of a #2.

deng is a glue guy, but he ain't no #2. matter of fact, he's worse than the #2 guy on every other elite team:

deng<<<<<<<westy
deng<<:old: duncan
deng<<<<<bynum
deng<<<<<<<<<<<d-
deng<<pierce
deng<<<<<<<<<blake griffin

to me he's totally expendable because SF is the deepest position in the NBA right now.

i understand the concern. but rose gets paid to play. its only so much babying and protection we can give him. you dont pay a player max dollars to sit him forever to insure they dont get injured. you have to play him. and with a injury like that its better to play sooner than later because he needs to get back into rhythm and he has to learn and trust his knee.

im all for trading whoever as long as its for upgrades. and i wanted nick young too. bulls front office is timid to sign loose screw type of players. but what needs to be considered is what players would do in this system vs what they would do on other teams under different systems. furthermore we dont have the luxury to trot 2-4 superstars out on the floor so the only way to legitimately compete is to have a complete team of complementary pieces that gel well and work great together. one of those pieces we lack is a great 6th man. players like nick young, jamal crawford, jr smith, oj mayo would be great in those roles to come off the bench and give them a green light. hopefully the front office realizes that now.

I agree with the bolded. once rose is cleared to play medically, he needs to be out there. his knee should be stronger than ever by then. and the other nagging injuries (back/toe/groin) should all be at 100% by then as well.

psshhhtttt I'd do a Boozer for Reddikk and Big Baby deal in a heartbeat, but I really think the only way to move Boozer to any team after 2 straight years of subpar playoff performances and that contract :snoop: any deal would have to include another bad contract return and either Deng or Noah

that deal with orlando had some hopes when otis was there, but we can forget it now, orlando has pretty much made it clear they moving on from d12.

i still feel if we end up with the 5th pick we should flip it in another package and get dwight. :manny:

i still got hopes that new jersey will get desperate enough to bring boozer in at a last attempt to keep deron

or maybe washington or cleveland gives us a deal to pair boozer with they young point guards. detroit is always possible.

im not losing hope yet.

and believe me i understand im posting this with more wishful thinking than what can really happen but im keeping the faith.

da bulls were fools to ever want booz in the first place, he was a bum when it mattered with the jazz too, i can still remember all the bricks he would throw up in the post season

can we stop with the booz was trash in the playoffs on the jazz? thats total :duck: right before coming here, dude beasted out in the playoffs with the jazz. actually, all his playoff #'s prior to coming here were godly.

like I mentioned on GM we never trade players with positive value I dont get that shyt once we feel they have lost value to us then we wanna deal them :scusthov::laff::pacspit:

I trade deng in a minute. his value is pretty high since he made the all star team, and he's not gonna get any better at this point in his career. plus, like I said, SF is the deepest position in the NBA by far.

I remember him in the 09/10 playoffs, and he was ballin out, which is why I didn't mind the signing that summer. his performances with the bulls have obviously been trash.

There’d been speculation the Bulls might want to go for Tyreke Evans, who lost his point guard job. But he’s a restricted free agent after next season and will cost a lot of money. If the Bulls were dealing, it would make more sense to trade for the pick and get either Barnes or Beal, the latter a shooting guard who could grow with Rose, and then have enough money with Deng’s salary off the books to substantially bolster point guard this off season.

Deng would be an ideal leader and role model for a young and talented team like the Kings. But the Kings would probably want the Bulls to take one of their bad contracts, like John Salmons’. Most teams with lottery picks for sale are asking for that sort of contract relief, which basically kills almost every deal.
Barnes to Bulls?
what does everybody think about salmons and 5th pick for deng?

I hate how salmons plays. not cuz he's trash, but because he can't catch and shoot. meaning u can't really set him up. anytime he gets the ball, regardless of being open or not, he's gotta put the ball on the floor before he can attempt a shot.
