If we did Deng, Gibson and Cats pick for #5, Evans and Isiah Thomas, we'd look into AK47.

thats a terrible trade for the Bulls. why would the Bulls give up two of there best defenders for bum-ass Tyreke and midget-ass Isiah Thomas. I know D-Rose needs help, but this is reaching now. If I was the Bulls I would laugh at them with that trade idea, if its true. lol

oh shyt I forgot AK47 still played lol. IDK AK47 hasn't played in a full year, but he is still only like 31. But, the Nets seem to be the favorites to pick him up, but you gotta see if he wants to play overseas still though. But, he is still a good defender, and under Thibs, I think he would be fine, but if I'm the Bulls, they should look to get someone like a Jerry'd Bayless, Courtney Lee, Nick Young, or Sam Young. They should be pretty cheap, and not an expensive salary for each of them and be really good pick ups for the Bulls.

With the 5th pick we SHOULD be getting Thomas Robinson if that's the case, unless Mirotic is coming over way sooner than we all think...

That's some retooling for that ass...

I'm on the fence, but this minght be some good value here if we can be patient..by the time Rose is back to 100%, we could end up better than we were this season..

and when was this? compared to rip brewer is all world. but personally i witnessed bogans shut more 2 guards down than brewer. he wasnt a terrible defender, but he wasnt that lockdown that we would terribly miss him if he was gone. and personally in thibs system we can make another one of him on the defensive end easily.

Brewer was the glue of the Bulls' starting line-up/bench-mob defense. His nuances in defense: cleaning up on rotations, bluing of ball-handlers, cleaning up on missed transition defensive-assignments, 1-3 cover-assignments, tying up loose ends etc etc; made him a more versatile defender in comparison to Bogans. '11 season - Brewer led the league for team defensive efficiency (player on floor) and he led the league in biggest differential, team defensive efficiency; player on floor +/- off floor as well.

Defensive players with Brewers' mental/physical tools are certainly not easy to replace - Thibs' system included.

Dwight is too risky we'd be giving both our starting and backup center for a flaky dude who might bounce in free agency. Him being on the team instantly makes the Bulls that much better but it's risky.

I got a feeling a squad with rose, reke, his buddy booz and a coach who system is going to make dwight look like a beast will convince him to stay lol

And we would still have some flexibility to fill out the roster

Its a risk, but one worth taking imo

What do you all think of Deng, one of Gibson or Cats pick and a future 1st for Salmons, Evans, #5 and one of Thomas or a 2nd rd pick? I'm hearing from a Sac and Chi source that they are talking. Last night from the Chi source they said the Kings were asking for both Cats pick and Gibson and no mention of Salmons. My Sac source said Salmons is going in any Evans deal and that the Kings want Deng, future 1st and one of Gibson and Cats pick... The Sac source said the Kings are also talking to the Nets about Evans.

I also heard the Bulls and Warriors are still talking but I'm not sure about what.
