i worry about that one too, that the bulls will make 1 too many moves due to the fanatic fan and we become mediocre.
no one, especially not some internet posters can determine what rose will look like and how long it will take him to come back. dude may surprise everybody and come back earlier than expected, better than expected.
and that philly series hopefully served as no more than tryouts on who the front office should keep or let go. which is why i think they letting cj and brewer go. i personally feel a deal for boozer is at least being attempted. i dont think those moves are that over the top. regardless this roster could use a tweak.
guys, there is no guarantee Rose will ever be the same, his game is predicated on speed/quickness/first step.. think of all the players with knee injuries who were never the same.. V Carter, Penny Hardaway and Grant Hill come to mind
and here is the sad part, we have never been fully healthy , have we not seen this team put together and be healthy for months at a time? nope so honestly i really dnt want this team broken up yet BUT i still hate the bulls for not getting nick young
i know im a take heat for this but i think that the bulls should sit his ass for a year wyt? penny and grant hill scares me lol
i understand the concern. but rose gets paid to play. its only so much babying and protection we can give him. you dont pay a player max dollars to sit him forever to insure they dont get injured. you have to play him. and with a injury like that its better to play sooner than later because he needs to get back into rhythm and he has to learn and trust his knee.
im all for trading whoever as long as its for upgrades. and i wanted nick young too. bulls front office is timid to sign loose screw type of players. but what needs to be considered is what players would do in this system vs what they would do on other teams under different systems. furthermore we dont have the luxury to trot 2-4 superstars out on the floor so the only way to legitimately compete is to have a complete team of complementary pieces that gel well and work great together. one of those pieces we lack is a great 6th man. players like nick young, jamal crawford, jr smith, oj mayo would be great in those roles to come off the bench and give them a green light. hopefully the front office realizes that now.
realgmLike I always say take it with a grain of salt but I'm hearing the Kings want to do Evans, 5 and filler for Deng, Gibson and Cats pick. Again this is what they are saying, not us. I'm trying to find out more.
The Kings want Deng, Gibson and Cats pick for 5, Evans and Thomas.
thats a terrible trade for the Bulls. why would the Bulls give up two of there best defenders for bum-ass Tyreke and midget-ass Isiah Thomas. I know D-Rose needs help, but this is reaching now. If I was the Bulls I would laugh at them with that trade idea, if its true. lol
we like Barnes supposedly if we could get them to move away from Gibson I would do it.
I'd trade Boozer for two cigarettes and a bag of Funyuns.
