According to Aggrey Sam of CSN Chicago, the Bulls are gonna try to make a run at Steve Nash or Jason Kidd. Also he stated that DRose may come back sooner than later as his rehab is going good,as usual. They will also match Omer, but within reason. If the Bulls cannot match Omer, they will do a s & t. The Bulls feel they are still a championship contender.

SOUNDS good..but...where we getting that money to go after Nash?..

sounds like we planning on making smoe moves to have some space..

The Bulls are expected to allow point guard C.J. Watson to become a free agent this summer, as Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle writes. Simmons indicates that the Bulls will decline a team option, but the Bulls don't possess an option. Instead, Watson's $3.2MM salary for the final season of his contract next year is not guaranteed if he's off the Bulls roster by July 10. So, it appears the Bulls will waive him before that deadline.

On Rose

"I've been rehabbing the same time he rehabs. It's been going great from what I see," Gibson said. "He's pushing his leg to the limit. He's getting stronger. (The trainers) said he's ahead of schedule already and I think he's going to come back better and stronger than he ever was ...

Also, when asked about a new contract

"Really, it doesn't matter (when it happens)," Gibson told ESPNChicago.com Thursday afternoon. "I told (general manager) Gar (Forman) and (vice president John Paxson) how committed I am to just being with the Bulls. It's not a thought in my head to leave Chicago because I love playing for the Bulls.
Forward Taj Gibson hopes to work out long-term deal with Chicago Bulls - ESPN Chicago

Premature Tweet Finished: Even more obvious now that Bulls' biggest needs are shooting, ball handlers and inexpensive rotation players.

Jason Kidd? What is it about getting legit, long term scoring threats we just can't seem to understand??

unless we move deng+plus gibson or bobcat pick or noah i cant see us getting that #2 option unless we strike gold in the lottery.

at this point, bobcat pick and Noah i'm feeling :manny: about

Center is harder to fill so my untouchables are rose and noah (unless Howard develops a brain) I dont want them to pay deng another huge deal with booz being hard to move for an upgrade.
