i like the idea of just renting him for a season, pairing him with rose come feburary, let him and rose and scrubs attempt to get us a title. then if he bounce sign some legit players

thing is we are still behind a bit in our package for dwight. a top 10 pick in the draft would put us over the top.

suggestion: maybe see if sacremento or the cavaliers are willing to part with they pick for asik and our pick.

deng, noah, top 10 pick and bobcat pick would put us close to the front with our attempts at dwight.

thing is this front office has been on the record with they loyalty to asik, so this plan is unlikely.

we can not lose asik,..period.

even though the bulls like to historically get rid of high quality also-ran centers.

in this case asik,...needs to stay put. he is one of the better reserve also-ran centers who is a real center in the league.

yo, I just thought about this while watching tonight's game. david west tore his ACL at the end of march 2011, and he was ready for the 11/12 season.

I know he's a PF and doesn't cut really, but there's no reason that d- won't be good to go by xmas.

It depends on the severity of the injury. Rubio tore his ACL and LCL at the end of February and he's off crutches now. Rose's injury was just more severe and considering what his game is predicated on, it's a tougher road to recovery.
