He's staying in LA to rehab. Said he wouldn't be able to focus with all the distraction in the chi. That last pic of him was from yesterday at a adidas teen bball game out in Cali.

While Derrick Rose recovers from his knee surgery, there is a possibility of him vastly improving his shot.

‘‘He can only do three things,’’ said Tim Hardaway, who missed the 1993-94 season after suffering a similar injury. ‘‘He can dribble — not run and dribble, just dribble walking up and down the court; he can shoot a bunch of free throws; and he can shoot a bunch of set shots like he’s playing H-O-R-S-E every day, all day.

‘‘But that’s going to make him better. If you shoot 1,000 jump shots a day, 1,000 free throws a day, you’re going to get better. That made my shot better. It really made my jump shot and free-throw percentage better.’’

Hardaway's niece, Mieka Reese, is Rose's longtime girlfriend.

Stan James told us there was a 10 percent chance I could break the bone again. That was all Reinsdorf and Krause wanted to hear. The team was lousy and they were thinking about a lottery pick. They were very careful not to say those exact words, but they might as well have written them on the wall. That’s when the argument began. Krause said, “we’re not taking the chance. What are you thinking?” I said, “My thinking is there’s a 90 percent chance I won’t break it again.” But I knew those guys had a completely different agenda. And I broke it out right there in front of them: “You’re trying to lose games so you can get a better draft pick.” That hit a nerve with Krause.

What went on between Jerry Krause, Jerry Reinsdorf, and me during the 1985-86 season was something I never got over. I now look at that situation as a test, maybe the biggest test of my professional career. But it also gave me a very clear view of Krause and Reinsdorf. They were businessmen. They were not sportsmen and they didn't have a true appreciation for the game. They made business decisions and basketball just happened to be the business.

As for the excerpt, that's no different than SA tanking the 96-97 season when the admiral got injured to get Timmy. Let's not act like only the bulls organization does this. Hell, as recently as 07-08, did Miami do the same thing when they decided to shut d- down to secure a high draft pick when they were on the fringe of playoff contention.

this is true

difference is with us and those teams is the fact they didnt have valuable assets they could have moved in the off season to secure more draft picks

we have noah and deng both could have gotten us lottery picks and gotten us major salary relief.

go start from scratch really start from scratch imo

we go be tanking giving deng 14 mill, noah 12 mill and boozer 14 mill, add rose salary bump and again, this the dumbest tank job ive ever seen.
