nikkas went from :sadbron: to :gladbron: over the offseason these past couple days.

i would be much happier with oj mayo on this team and boozer gone

but really how long can you cry over spilled milk? that was the problem last year, the complaining went over kill

so im done. ill criticize when they deserve it, but i like the nate pick up. more because it says the front office is finally taking a shot on a questionable character. maybe if nate works out we will grab some guys next season and realize that strong leadership will make most funny characters get into line.

my concern is still the same, rose will have to carry too much of the burden when he returns. thats too much on his knee that he is trying to get back to 100%

and im still not sure we have guys that will make teams pay if they send double teams or traps to rose.

but we do have more ball handlers (pause) and maybe, just maybe some of these guys can hit a damn shot in the playoffs as it seems korver/brewer/ and watson basically disappeared the last 2 post seasons.

but im a fan, and i will cheer us on regardless.
Belinelli can shoot breh, hopefully he's that guy.

Beli>>>>>Korver......He's more athletic and he got better handles.

yea im hoping so.

i wasnt so upset on korver leaving. he is a 3pt specialist but what good is it if that shot will disappear every postseason? and at that price? naw we will survive

the things im most upset about this off season is not flipping our assets for something of value, and not getting rid of boozer. looking over oj mayo pisses me off too cause i know we could have grabbed him if we wanted him.

we will miss asik defense off the bench though. at best we could have flipped asik for something, but we lost him for nothing. terrible job by the front office.

but overall do i think we got better no, but do i think we got worst no, unless these dudes dont buy into thibs system, but nothing suggest they wont. so at best we staying afloat.

just too much for rose to carry when he gets back though. i hope they dont ruin the young man career.

One of the names that have surfaced is Tracy McGrady who the team has some familiarity with after working him out prior to the 2010-2011 season. But another name that has popped up of late is power forward Kenyon Martin.

Martin, a 12-year veteran, finished the season last year in a reserve role with the Los Angeles Clippers after playing part of the year in China as a result of the NBA lockout. His addition would certainly bring a measure of toughness to the team as well as depth in the frontcourt which has been the Bulls strength over the last two seasons.

His defensive acumen would also fit right in with what the team has become famous for and he’d be the type of player that Tom Thibodeau would love.

Deng planning to skip or postpone wrist surgery - chicagotribune.com

Then, he offered good news for Bulls fans, strongly implying he will either forgo surgery on the torn ligament in his left wrist altogether or postpone it until after the 2012-13 season.

"Did I look like I needed (surgery)?" Deng said. "I'm fine right now. I feel great. There are a lot of things I want to improve in my game that I want to focus on. I want to be a better player than I was last year.

"I have time to make decisions and be healthy by the time we start (training camp)."

With Bulls' camp roughly eight weeks away, it'd be impossible for Deng to have surgery now and be ready for start. Asked a second time about his decision, Deng made clear he planned to start camp on time.

"I'm just going to get ready for the season," Deng said.

:beli:

He's going to take a bad fall and struggle the whole season.
