Eye witnesses and camera has him inside a house under reconstruction, which is against Georgia law according to the video. That results in a felony and you can perform a citizens arrest if you catch someone in the act.

However I don't think it was THAT serious to chase him. He didn't take anything, just call the cops and let them know the location.

Civil rights violations, federal hate crime, murder as a hate crime. Basically that the two suspects violated the victim's civil rights the Justice Department got the call from the AG of Georgia, and will review the case. Possible they don't have one, and possible they do.

Also, obstruction of justice, bribery, corruption under color of authority if state prosecutors acted unlawfully to not fully investigate or cover this up.

of course, since it's the justice department, politics can always get involved. However, Kemp seems to be behind it, at this point, and that is a good sign, but internal Justice Department politics are more important. William Barr would have to sign off on this.

It's not. There are significant differences. In this case, there is actual documented proof that he was unlawfully chased and confronted with drawn firearms before the fight happened. In the Zimmerman case, it was just Zimmerman's word. There was also evidence that Zimmerman was actually beaten up, and Zimmerman had some business (even if flimsy and unofficial) to follow Trayvon. Here, these two yahoos had no business whatsoever to be chasing an unarmed man. You also have to factor in that the men went BACK to their homes to get guns, they weren't already carrying them.
