It's more because the style changed completely..when Lakers was a fast running team ..he was always at the end of lobs...but now that they slow the game down and post up players ..the defense has time to put weight on him making his style useless.

That has nothing to do with the part about his defense being terrible. THAT is what the Lakers need a 5 for.

Lakers have shooters, they just need to hit their shots. I expect the shooting to get better when Rondo comes back and he can set guys up better.
