Beats wack ass Jacob's request franchise belt because he didn't want to defend it against charlo :mjlol:. goes on to fight Kovalev on a short camp right after he almost got put into retirement by yarde. Let's not revision history canelo requested franchise before he got stripped:mjlol:

Because Canelo was looking to become undisputed. Canelo not getting title unification fights plus being stripped of the IBF title marked the end of his relationship with Golden Boy, and his time at 160.

You can hate all you want, but the facts is Charlo won't even go to 168 to face Benavidez, meanwhile Canelo literally jumped up two weight classes to fight Kovalev.:manny:

Then proceeded to go down and dominate the guy many perceived to be #1 at 168.:manny:

Is it about belts or fighting the best competition? He was willing to fight battle worn Kovalev at 175 without unifying why didn't he fight and defend his title against charlo at 160 instead? It's about the easiest way to unify and thats 168 and we both know it :unimpressed:

"Easiest way to unify."

But Callum Smith, Billy Joe Saunders, or Caleb Plant would easily be Mal's best career win?:mjlol:

So has Mal just been taking it easy?

This about canelo , Mal isn't the one who requested franchise belt not to fight his mandatory.

Right, this is about Canelo, who is on track to unify 168 by beating Smith, Saunders and Plant. Normally, these guys would be seen as quality opposition, but because this is about Canelo, detractors gotta make excuses why they're not.

Anyways, Canelo still gotta go out there and beat Saunders and Plant. Dude could very well lose against either.

168 is a very weak division, and you are not going to sell these guys as opponents worthy to fight the “face of boxing.”

I’ll give you Saunders, which would have been more interesting years ago. Canelo is going to beat the breaks off Saunders & Plant. He may even stop them, which indicates just how poor the division is.

Let’s just be real here. Do you really believe these are entertaining matchups? Put the Stan shyt aside

Before Yildirim, Canelo fought:

Callum Smith - WBA 168 Champion
Sergey Kovalev - WBO 175 Champion
Daniel Jacobs - IBF 160 Champion

In a row.:mjlol:

But fighting Yildirim after having fought Smith two months ago is the ultimate travesty, right?:mjlol:

It's also interesting that Canelo left 160 once the IBF stripped him of his title, effectively ending his campaign of becoming undisputed at 160.

Beats Jacobs May 4, 2019.
Becomes WBC franchise June 2019.
Golden Boy fails to secure unification fight, fails to make fight with IBF mandatory Derevychenko.
IBF strips Canelo August 2019.

Canelo never had another fight at 160 after becoming franchise champ, yet the haters will make you believe Canelo was fighting Brandon Adams or sum shyt and ducking Charlo.:mjlol:
Lol..Sergay is 100% washed..nobody asked for that silly fight. Barely beat jacobs. Smith lost to Ryder..do that fight was always a huge lie.
