We already knew what this was. It was a weak ass mandatory that he had to get out the way. Now it's on to the bigger fish. You said all week this card wasn't worth watching but you still in here though. Deep down you love canelo's style

i dont know if you know this or not but i damn near watch every card..tonights card and the equally unimpressive PBC card that was on fox...which is why i can say shyt like canelo gets outshined on his card and then pick examples off the top of my head to support it like tonights heavyweight fight on his undercard

like i said thankfully DAZN has better fights on the horizon to get back on track and as a boxing fan ill watch those too

support garbage brehs and wonder why the fights that need to be made arent

Canelo requested him, not the WBC.

That’s not true he was Mando because Yildirim team filed a complaint because of how the Dirrell fight ended and they said he would be second mandatory to Benevidez after Dirrell. Canelo skipped the line for the title but when you do that you have an immediate mandatory like Haney had. I’m not the biggest Canelo fan but can’t be lying on the man there’s enough dirt to not do that.

Even Canelo himself said in the post fight interview that this wasn't a fight he would've taken, but since it was a mandatory and he wants to become undisputed, he had to take it.

Personally, I wish all the top fighters were more active. We're missing out on the fighter's prime when they're only fighting once or twice a year.

So what? If it's a washed version, it's just easy pickings..the Canelo norm..faces Saunders after he performs bad..fights GGG 2 years after fans demanded the first fight..lol...fights washed Sergay. Gets the "decision " over GGG and says he's gonna unify the Middleweight division. Charlo is his WBC mandatory ala Yildrim...runs for the hills and fights Rocky Felding next..practically hands his belt to Charlo...imagine Roy Jones Jr handing his belts over to Reggie Johnson. You gonna fight the best after you reach the superstar level..thats why Spence is p4p the best...there are no gimmicks. He just keeps winning against prime contenders..not Rocky Felding or Yildrim instead of a Benavidez who he didn't fight when he was the wbc champion. It's sense.
