I’m tired of this Stan shyt on this board.
I’m very indifferent about Canelo. My criticism is that he’s a very underwhelming “face of boxing.” When you reach that status, you should be trying to put together Super Bowl type level events. He’s simply failed in that regard. It’s just one underwhelming fight after another.
Now the rebuttal to this is going to be “well he’s going for undisputed.” Fighters at his status typically don’t even bother with it. I view him going for it as hustle, which is brilliant by the way. He’s basically able to justify these weak fights to public, and get paid doing it, because it’s “undisputed.”
You do know if 168 was a stronger division, he wouldn’t really bother with undisputed right? Or are you just a Stan completely oblivious to what he’s doing?
