Props to both fighters, that fight started really well and had me thinking this could be close but Fury was too good and Wilder does not have the skillset to beat Fury straight up. He lost the first fight objectively so it doesn't come as a surprise that he lost that one too.
I still remember that Fury had Wilder a bit shaky in the 12th of the first fight after the behind the back taunt so he did have some power and that was a bit overlooked but I didnt expect him to KO Deontay. That is defo a surprise to me. Now I dont really need to see a rematch because that win was too convincing to leave any doubt about whos the best between the two.
For Wilder, he's in a weird place because I think he thinks himself above the second tier that is the Whyte, Parker and them but I dont really see a reason for him to get a Joshua fight now. He doesnt have a belt any more so he lost his only bargaining power. I hope he can rebuild himself up but he would need to beat one or two guys from the tier below so I think a Whyte fight would be a great thing for both.
Wilder is now unfortuntely far too old to learn new things and improve. He relied too much on his nuke all his career and really has no other options. Obviously that busted eardrum played a major role in this fight but even without it I dont see if it could have turned out better for him. He did land the right but Fury took them well so I dont see what he could have done better.
Anyways props to Fury, with that W and the Klitshko , if he collects a Joshua win then he'll definitely be a ATG. I do think Joshua would fare better than Deontay because he's more mobile and has a more diverse arsenal. Hopefully we can have this fight in Wembley in late 2021.
