The axe murderer
For I am death and I ride on a pale horse
Double
Yes you Americans can watch these two bums fight in your own time
We are going to have AJ vs Fury in London
I can’t even listen to this guy
Shows how much people really dikkrode Wilder on his power.
I had Tyson winning the first one and had him winning it convincingly here before the fight (didn’t expect the TKO tho). In the first fight Tyson has a 3 YEAR layoff... still came in and beat Wilder with just pure boxing.
Now he comes back with ring rust gone, a couple wins under his belt, bigger/stronger, etc. How could you not pick him over a guy that literally only throws one punch? Dangerous punch yeah, but that’s it.
mince I watched the fight and saw Fury walking him down I thought it was smart but dangerous because he’s applying the pressure and ring generalship needed to convince judges he’s winning plus to see if Wilder can box or punch going backwards... and he couldn’t.
Wilder wasn’t big enough to come forward, jab was weak, wasn’t good enough a boxer to properly counter, didn’t have nearly enough defense to avoid getting hit, etc. all he had was a right hand and Fury was not just evading that... he was neutralizing it.
Wlad and his bro took the heavyweight crown from America and America has never got it back sinceLmao at the fukkin clowns who had Wilder winning by KO
Wilder was Outclassed, Outfought and Outboxed by Fury in both fights
Wilder got a draw in the 1st fight by the help of the biased US judges but could not help Wilder this time lol
Britain rules the heavyweight scene! AJ and Fury
Come on American fans. Let me lick your tears
I had Fury from jump but just on some 1 plus 1 equals 2 shyt.I still could never write Wilder off while he was in there despite the flaws just due to his sheer power which I do believe in. Fury took his shots very very well though, he looked unfazed by any shots landed, completely unfazed. He didn't seem bothered at all and just kept walking him down, he came in determined like he had a job to do and did it.
I didn't know who was gonna win the fight, but I did think the people who said Fury had no chance at all and it was impossible were wrong. I picked Fury but I probably had him in my head as a slight favourite, maybe 55 - 45 or 60 - 40. When asked who I thought was going to win I said Fury. And I even had a debate with someone saying I believe he could potentially stop Wilder, they were saying it was risky and crazy to be aggressive, what I said to them was Fury was the better boxer so he could land and avoid the shots. I personally think at times Fury was getting caught a little too much, I didn't really have someone I wanted badly to win the fight, was just watching as a spectator but I was looking at how open he was at times and thought he was open to being knocked out by Wilder, Wilder didn't capitalise on it though.
That's what makes Wilder fights interesting to me, you can never be sure cause 1 power shot landed really could change a fight. But he got dominated and outmanned, Fury made him his bytch, had Wilder moaning like a little girl in there.
Got a phone call that interrupted my train of thought but...
Yeah I bet on Wilder early and then Fury late, because I thought it was possible Wilder could get him out there early, I had Fury mid-late rounds, because I thought if he could survive the early power and energy his approach and tactics could drain Wilder and render him less effective which is what happened.
He really outmanned him, he dominated and bullied him. He was stronger than him physically and mentally, Willder folded, he was just desperate trying to land 1 big punch and Fury just kept coming at him with no fukks given. I think some of the weight gain may have been for punch resistance too, Wilder's punches didn't faze him this time at all. It was a domination, I have to give props, 1 man didn't do what he said he would and the other did exactly what he said he would. It was memorable.
I had Fury from jump but just on some 1 plus 1 equals 2 shyt.
It just made more sense to me for Fury to win.
I never counted Wilder out but I was basically saying if Wilder can’t land that right he’s done... and Fury was skilled enough to do it.
Then I heard Fury saying he was gonna get Wilder out of there early and even brought up “What if he knocks Wilder out...” to my friends because it was possible too (I just didn’t think it was likely because of Fury’s style).
But Fury came in focused and moving forward... my boxing coach used to tell me to go forward all the time. Even if I step back out of range, always try to go forward. Fury did that and he watched the right hand. It was easy... risky but easy because he literally had no other punch to watch for. And instead of waiting for Wilder to get off so Fury could counter him, he made Wilder have to counter instead.
If you followed fury career Early on he was more of a come forward fighter but became more elusive. I didn't think he was gonna revert to that here. Effective on the inside and mid as well so took away Wilder's weaponsNo doubt, same, but so many intangibles I wasn't sure, was questions to be asked, they were answered emphatically.
You're right in what you're saying though for real, the skill plays a BIG factor, I said it before but this shyt ain't a tough man competition or who has the most power, boxing is so much more than that, the superior boxer won. It was the most logical point but Wilder's great power put a reasonable question mark, but it was a question mark not a certain period which some said it was.
No doubt, Fury performed excellently, maybe a few small flaws but that's hyper critical because he did his job very well, no problems for him really, it ended up being quite easy. He didn't look tired or bothered at any point in the fight, Wilder looked gone.
