I dapped because your informed on what's going on in Africa IMO

But I kind of disagree on the state not existing in a decade. I think ultimately Nigeria will be like an African version of China or India where the center will will hold the periphery. Nigerian politicians of every tribe, ethnic group, religion and region have mansions and villas in the capital (Abuja) and they all go to Aso Rock to collect their % of the $$$$.

With what $$$? Oil will not sustain. Make no mistake, war will happen if all sides do not reconcile and state governors are not held to a standard.

Once again,

Hey guys, should I listen to Africans like @Greenstrings who lives in London and end eats fish and chips

or an actual Nigerian in Nigeria?

:pachaha:

Thats incredibly funny seeing as the few dozen Nigerians in Nigeria said the complete opposite of this nonsense :dead:
No, the person you've quoted was making a point about Igbo grievances about the lack of meaningful reconciliation in the decades after the Biafran War. You've misinterpreted it and then misapplied it because you lack the contextual knowledge needed to parse discourse on the country.

Are you dumb enough to think Nigerian power brokers would let a little thing like votes fukk up their agendas? There isn't enough of a middle class base to hold regional politicians to account and as such democracy is a farce perpetrated by the elite to give their kleptocracy a veneer of legitimacy.

:dahell: 2,000?? Did they find those missing school girls? What the fukk is going on?

Yes they did. But Boko Haram demanded the Nigerian Gov free some of their fighters or pay up and Goodluck Jon told them to kick rocks..so it is what it is

1 tweet yes (which still is part of the ethnic divide narrative) but nothing to do with

"Many won't be voting for a "new Nigeria", they will be voting for the party they think best represents their "ethnic interests"."

""Divisiveness" we see today is the sum total of 54 years of divisive politics. Visit Kaduna, it's divided based on religion - like Belfast"

Do I think backdoor deals happen? Yes. Do I think backdoor deals decide who ultimately get elected? No.

What do other African states have to do with what's going on in Nigeria? If the Nigerian Military or Police can't deal with Boko Haram then that's there problem.

As long as Boko Haram keep their destructive activities to the predominantly Muslim North.......
You just proved my point...Africans are happy to sit back and see their own get slaughtered...
Africans sold their brothers to the white man for slavery...Africans sat back and watch terrorists destroy Mali for months before crying, once again, to the white man (France) to come rescue them...
Africans watched genocide in Rwanda and did nothing...
Africans ain't shyt...

Were the girls freed? What the fukk? I heard they were sold or some shyt. I really haven't been keeping up with this news item as much as I should have been. I could have sworn they kidnapped another batch of girls.

Why do people keep chastising the likes of cnn and other western media for not covering this or showing lack of concern? :mjlol:

The nigerian authorities have clearly made it blatant that they don't care about the lives of their own people.

Goodluck Jonathan attended the wedding of his daughter this weekend and he hasn't even addressed this atrocity. If the president himself doesn't give a fukk why should CNN or any outsider?

The state still has the military might, international alliances, and finances to crush any insurgency that gets out of hand. Boko Haram is ravaging villages...if they start attacking major cities like Abuja, Lagos, Kano, Port Harcourt, etc. then......................

I was not referring to Boko Haram when I said war. Northerners are fleeing South and ethnic based narrative are coming into play because of GEJ.
