1998 was the tail end of the era that was built by the golden era. Afterwards radio and media in general was monopolized and the companies started to force feed shyt down kids throats.

I can see how you could say that from a lyrical standpoint. But MOT was better produced and has no filler. And Guru was doing his thing on the mic.

Both great albums - but I give it to MOT.

Wacky you ever heard the Hiero album? I hadn't listened to it in probably a decade and it was pretty amazing. Some filler - but lyrically they're on another level and the production is solid to amazing.

ive never heard a hiero album in my life. I barely even recall seeing a video from them.
