I probably forgot few of the releases. overall, 1998 was a good year, not great. No limit, Beastie boys, Mase and will Smith songs were annoying as hell. X, and jay then took over. Jay was at his worst though.

the best thing about 98 was the NY freshmen class: Pun, Cam, Dmx, Priest, and Nore, and the Canibus pre-canibus hype.

Both dropped in 98. Both were disappointing. Especially Meth. That was really his shot to dominate and he hit us off with awkward Donald Trump skits.
