VA is in the dem camp for sure now but NC will be tough.Dems have to be smart to pick the right ticket to stop Trump because they got the popular vote but if Florida goes down the way it did last night they have to make inroads in NC and VA along with the midwest. Taking back PA, Wisconsin, Ohio and Michigan which is doable after last nights results.
I know it's easy to blame racism and it certainly had an impact, but Obama won that state twice. A Dem can't win in FL by attacking Trump, in the same way Manchin would never win in WV by attacking Trump. Dude basically ran a national campaign against Trump when he should have just stuck with Florida issues and ignored Trump.
Mal is my homie off the coli. He’s a FL breh so I don’t want him getting down. It’s not a hot take, that’s a tough L in FL.coli hot takes are
No it’s not. Not everyone who lives in a small white state is insane. If Dems can grab the governor in Kansas, why wouldn’t they be able to get a seat there. Places like Montana, Idaho you’re never gonna get but it is what it is. If Andrew Gillum was Andres Guerrero he’d have won last night. We got Texas within a % point. Reading this thread you’d think the Dems got crushed last night lol. Negativity does no good.going forward the senate is going to be a serious problem for dems. republicans making rapid grown among white voters is going to be really noticeable in a chamber where small white states are disproportionately represented. so we kinda fukked there.
also im through expecting anything from florida. from now on im assuming theyre all red everything when i think about upcoming elections.
Which seats of theirs are actually vulnerable? Corey Gardener in CO for sure, and maybe Sue Collins. But I don't know where else they could pick up seats with the current climate.
Mitch McConnell is up and I would love to see him get the boot, but I highly doubt Kentucky will do that. They consistently vote in hardcore right wingers like Matt Bevin, Rand Paul, Thomas Massie, Mitch, etc.
