$15.00 an hour isn't a lot of money.

If you notice, all these dudes saying 15/hr is not enough aren’t detailing their situations.

They know if they did, they’d make 0 sense.

Cats in here single bachelors but have multiple baby mommas and paying child support for several kids screaming 31k a year won’t cut it :russ:
Right and paying $350 on a car note for a garbage ass Chrysler 300 or something :mjlol:

10 pages later and you know y'all proved OPs point right? To make 15 an hour livable for a single person here are the recommendations I've read in here; live in the hood, don't have a car or get a used cash car to avoid car notes, liability only insurance, no cable/internet, contract phone, no eating out, and basically no luxuries of any kind and it can work out "well" for you. So, if you have to cut your lifestyle down to the bare minimum, $15 isn't a lot of money. Anywhere. It's a wage you can survive on which is why it should be the minimum wage, not the "entry" to the middle class. :mjlol: How are you middle class and you can't afford a car, car insurance, cable/internet or an up to date phone and looking at Obamacare plans? :heh: That's middle class to you guys? My people are so lost and they don't even know it. :wow:
Nah breh, you’re the lost one..If you making less than $35 an hour you shouldn’t have no car note, single or not, kids or not

Nikkas cry about not being able to take a decent vacation or stack for whatever but will gladly pay $400 for some weak ass car monthly

I’ve had liability insurance for 3 years now, never been in an accident. Pay attention to the road, drive according to conditions and I guarantee you’ll never have an accident(that’s your fault at least).Hence, why full coverage is for bad drivers

This is the only place I've seen folks openly dismiss car notes in recent years. When I was younger, only broke cats said this.

If you want something newer and nicer that's the way to go...always has been. Just pay it off sooner so you don't pay so much more in interest.

But why get it in the first place when you can just cop an older Lexus or Acura that’ll last you 300k no problems :mindblown:

Dumbest shyt I've read in this thread, anyone can swerve into you at anytime, anyone can steal your car at anytime, then when that happens what are you going to do?

$15 ain't enough but of course you'll be on the side that thinks it is cause you also asked this question

Is $1500 a month reasonable to live off in the Midwest :patrice:

Because I don't want an old Lexus. That's really the premise of working and truly reaping your rewards. My car of preference is Nissan, btw. I have two older generation Maximas that are in perfect condition, still didn't stop me from buying a newer one a few years ago.

You work for your needs and your wants. At least that's how I was raised.

His deductible is probably higher than the worth of the car. He's just driving legal. If that's the case it makes sense.

I was going to point that out but basically a lot of people inadvertently explained why $15.00 is minimum wage. And opponents of raising it to $15.00 are out of touch with reality.

No major U.S. city should have a minimum wage below $15.00 an hour. Companies need to stop being lazy because it's easy to hire someone for $8.50 an hour because if they get fired, the cost makes the mistake minimum. But $15.00 will get you bigger pool of quality applicants. Even if they leave, you will always have a steady stream of people applying.

I be trying to fill positions starting at $9.00 OR $9.50 an hour and it's like a headache. Out of 30 people, maybe 4 or 5 are even decent enough to bring in for an interview :snoop: I can't even fire people at my job because it takes so long to replace them.

Man I thought I was trippin when people said they live comfortable off 16 a hour. I make 20 in the south, houston to be exact. And I’m budgeting my ass off. No car note, renting, and normal bills. I need another 10-15 on top of 20 to be comfortable.
