Yeah that time could be spent on those things.

But what if you have a good commute? Mine is 30 minutes all back roads with no traffic. That's just as therapeutic as sleeping, reading, etc.

The median American commute time is 27 minutes. Not bad if you ask me.
Who cares about YOUR commute? The people that choose remote work, including myself, have had one way commutes worse than that especially in big cities/metro areas.

Who gives a fukk about the median American commute when it is adding in areas no one gives a shyt about plus not differentiating traffic in Metro areas. If you worked in any of the big metro areas, unless you live close to where you work, you are spending more than 30 minutes one way. Not even adding the people that live far out from the city for affordable rent but still work in the city, that commute is easily a hour one way in a car or public transportation.

Plus one of the biggest bonuses of fully remote work is that you can be anywhere and still work. I go home from November through mid January and work with no issues. I could not do that before when i was on site. I would have to save all of my vacation time just to get a fraction of the time i have now with remote work. I know people that work remote that are traveling way more they ever have because they can work from wherever.

fukk that extra money, it is not going to break me but having my time wasted in an office will.

Nah, I would definitely get out the house and stuff if I was WFH.
Another benefit some people do not understand. When it is not fukking cold as shyt, i go out during the day and get business handled without all of the rush of people getting off of work/school. I can go and do things that i want and if for some reason someone needs to talk to me, i have Teams on my phone and Outlook for my emails. I stay within 30 minutes of my place so if i need to do something quick i can always be back in no time, and if i need to go farther than that i just bring my laptop with me.

Since WFH the weekend does not even feel the same anymore because that was the time i spent doing things i could not do during the week. Now i am not on Sunday nights pissed because i have to go to work after a funky 2 days off. Nowadays if i do not have to do anything in the morning i will sleep in an extra hour or two and if i do not have anything i need to do past a certain time i "clock out".

165K. I don't want to work from home everyday. I think 3/2 is a good set up as that's what I have now.

165k easily, but I understand where other guys are coming from. I think it depends on what you do and how your work environment is.

I'm already in the office 2 days a week, and my supervisor said technically if your in the office for 10 minutes then leave for a "site visit" or to grab "materials" it still counts as an office day.

Plus we paid milage, and my office is a 40 min commute both ways which isn't that bad comparing it to some people who have to do 2hrs from and to.

165K. It's not even a question to me and I work fully remote now. 40K is too much of a difference.

I'll put in my 3 days. That gives me enough time out of my house so that I'm motivated to utilize my 4 days when I'm off. I'd work Tuesday - Thursday. Gives me Friday - Monday to hustle on the side.
:mjlol:

You think a hybrid role where you work 3 days in the office means you are off for the other 4?

This nikka would get fired the first week

I'm just saying, y'all make it seem like it's bumper to bumper for a majority of Americans. Again, the median commute is 26 minutes. That's actually not bad at all

For somebody that wants the $165k, a 26 minute commute ain't shyt.

You were the retard in class who slowed things down for everyone, weren't you.

The purpose of these comparisons is comparing the addition income against the perks that come with remote work. One of the perks is flexibility which extends to where people live because travel is no longer an issue.

Seriously, fukk off. People like you should just sit on the side when people are speaking. You're slow and arrogant. Because of people like you, conversations get derailed because time is spent explaining things others just understand.

If you can take the $125k and move somewhere cheaper then what's the point of having this $125k vs $165k debate???:russ: It's now a one sided argument

You a grown ass man throwing insults like a damn toddler sounding like an emotional woman. If you don't like me, if you got some beef, then use the block button, I ain't going NOWHERE playa:hhh::mjlol:
