That was my personal fav ‘money’ Mayweather performance and it was a blessing in disguise for Canelo. He’s clearly studied that match and his defence has been up there with the best ever since.

Say what you want about past fights, I don't see anybody in Canelo's range, 160-168, beating him. Would probably have to fight Beterbiev to lose, but I think he could beat Bivol. His jab is A1, everyone knows about the left hook, now his uppercut and straight right are heavy punches too? Insane. Not to get lost in the sauce, Smith TRIED to stay at range and jab Canelo off, but Canelo had that taken care of by round 4. Excited to see who Canelo fights next, hope it's not a trash fight like Triple G/Spence. Hopefully big Charlo.

Canelo said last night his first priority is unifying 168. Said whoever has a belt is getting a fight guaranteed. So it's looking like his next fight will either be plant or bjs. Charlo and Andrade need to move up already. Both of em are too big for 160 as is. And canelo's not moving down for them dudes..
