did anyone in smith's corner tell him to stop laying on the ropes?

Joe Gallagher fighters all have a particular ceiling with him as the trainer. He's a very good UK domestic trainer and his fighters always try hard and are game for a fight, but always end up looking like they aren't really going to win when they step up to world level. Obviously you can only do so much with the talent of the fighter. But I never expect a Gallagher fighter to pull off a shock win. I do wonder what an Adam Booth or even Ingle could of done with Callum Smith.

:russell: Another impressive performance against a powerless cherry picked fighter out of his league.

Steroids not withstanding, we know Canelo is a great fighter, but he doesn’t fight anybody. He continues to jump around weight classes because he doesn’t want a legitimate opponent.

Now he’s going to try and bait Spence to jump up in weight so he can bully him, but hopefully Uncle Al and his team are smarter than that. If that doesn’t work, it’ll be another GGG fight or some tall fighter with no power or movement.

Look. There's levels to the game. And we've never seen Spence show this type of skillset in a boxing ring. Lets just be honest here. Maybe if canelo is super drained at 160 and his stamina goes out after round 3. But I don't think 160 will be hard to make cause he usually stays around fighting weight now. Canelo is just too fukkin sharp.
Canelo wouldn’t be drained and he’ll be juiced up to his ears. It’s much more of a disadvantage to Spence to jump from 147 to 160. I wouldn’t do it. Spence can make just as much money off Pac Man or Crawford with a lot less risk

He was number one in the division and held the wba and ring titles. Won the super series:dwillhuh:
