I'm not sure what you're trying to say...my point is that Kobe as an all-time great in the twilight of his career, and the Lakers as one of the most successful teams in pro sports (far as legacy and prestige...and $ wise, as evidenced by sh!t like the billion-plus dollar tv deal they signed not long ago...basically cashing out on their popularity from the Kobe-Era) are in a different situation than a young superstar just entering their prime looking to join a team and with them to validate a "legacy"...if the Lakers don't win a championship with Kobe in the next 2 years, after already winning 5 and going to 7, it ain't the end of the world...
