I’m a damn American :mjpls: but the narrative to me has shifted. I thought like many did that AJ didn’t wanna see Wilder but ever since that Draw that was “gifted” to Deontay, his whole demeanor on the AJ fight has seemed to change. Post fight against Brezeale, he chose his words wisely and ina way one could interpret he passive aggressively said he doesn’t want to fight AJ, and the Fury rematch is more realistic be made in the near future.

Didn’t he make a comment outright saying he doesn’t want the fight even if it’s 50/50 or some shyt? Maybe his handlers got in his head saying to hold up on the AJ fight ,but truth is this works perfectly for Femi cause I feel as Wilder gets older and loses his athleticism/reflexes, the chances of him landing that Falcon punch will decrease . Obviously theres a good chance, Wilder Gets King Kong our early but ,shyt Ortiz really could play the spoiler cause he was boxing that nikkas head off before he got stopped. I don’t know sucks loving this sport when Politics as Uaual seem to be at an all time high...

A year or two ago, I would say it’s a true 50/50 fight and the odds of AJ getting starched were probably better than Wilder getting stopped or losing on points. This fight may never happen or maybe it will past it’s “expiration date” like Manny/Floyd... but I don’t a 36-37 year old Wilder doing much to a 32-33 year Anthony Joshua :francis:

Ortiz is his in 40's and nobody want to face him (besides Wilder again).
Even Parker and Whyte who are younger than Ortiz don't want the smoke.:manny:

So, Eddie never reached out to Haymon and AJ spent 2 years ducking Wilder but Wilder is supposed to be chasing him? What do you guys know about the boxing business?

Take 20 mil to go fight on another network while the fight is a potential 300 mil fight ? :dead:

I agree with Wilder. AJ acting like he can fleece Wilder. They were both on Showtime and Eddie avoided Wilder for all he can. Also DAZN is free but Showtime would want this as a PPV.

DAZN is the new unproven network. They have no time but to bow down to Showtime demands.

Thank you! A real boxing fan with knowledge views unlike that CAC ruler with his dumb ass views :salute:

AJ been ducking Wilder for 3+ years. Wilder been called that AJ out but he rather wait till 2021 to face Wilder. He said that himself in an old interview.
All of a sudden he wants to fight Wilder now? :mjlol:

Shout out to Al Haymon and Wilder for making smart moves. Let the haters continue to hate. Wilder and his team are winning. Won two sports Emmy's too. :wow:

Nope. Talking about the meeting Finkel, Haymon and Wilder had with John Skipper, the head of DAZN. $120 million for 3 fights Dominic Breazeale and two fights with AJ.

Most people would take the deal. But if Wilder thought that he could get more than that at least negotiate. Not just leave it.
Who is most people. Who are you to question Alan Haymon, the one who orchestrated Mayweather's success.
The one whom created PBC. Responsible for 75% of last years boxing viewership.

This is the definition of ducking, he announces his fight right before the AJ fight so the pressure can't be put on him to fight AJ. Doing anything possible to duck the fight and tie himself up.
Can't duck Someone u offered the deal (that they asked for) and turned down. Then pulled out of their own offer to fight povetkin. That's not a duck

Nah I wanted to believe Wilder wanted the AJ fight, but not even waiting for the AJ fight to see if anything could be negotiated this time around speaks volumes :francis:

Not a soul can convince me he didn't duck this time.

Further more "All controversial fights to get dealt with ASAP" :stopitslime: So he ducks his most controversial fight to fight a guy who he beat clean :stopitslime:

That's not what happened, it was a dodgy offer and they never sent the contract/terms when asked. And the offer they claim they "accepted" they never actually signed the contract for, AJ's team absolutely did not pull out, the mandatory was called because Wilder and his team never actually signed the contract for the fight and took so long so they called it. After that the fight has been offered numerous times since then which they also turned down, Wilder is on video saying he turned down the fight around 5 or more times.

If we're blaming someone, it should be the root.
AJ wanted 50 mill, got the offer, ducked.
Offered 15 mill, Wilder said YES, ducked again.

False, no matter how much you repeat false information doesn't make it true, but glad at least you admit Wilder is ducking now. Everyone is starting to see even more and more now who was ducking all along, actions speak louder than words, and the history of both tells it's own story.

You're a clown and ignorant as fukk, AJ just offered Ortiz the fight and he ducked it, Ortiz doesn't even have any elite wins on his record. It's Wilder cherry picking again, fighting an old man with blood pressure issues who hasn't even got any elite wins who he already knocked out just so he can duck the AJ fight again. Whyte also offered Ortiz the fight, Ortiz didn't take it, on numerous occasions. He fought Dave Allen instead who Whyte beat. You're a delusional desperate clown, saying AJ is ducking when Wilder just turned down 120 mil deal...

Here's Wilder admitting he turned down 120 mil himself...

1.24 from this video..

"Hell yeah we turned down 120" - Deontay Wilder

Guy, Wilder agreed to 2 offers by AJ. He went to his fights. Called the Martin and Klitschko fights on Showtime. He asked about 4 times for the fight. AJ ducked and wanted Klitschko, then he wanted Povetkin. He waited until he gets out of Showtime to start calling Wilder out. Showtime will not give DAZN that fight and Eddie knows it. Even HBO did a joint venture for the May/Pac fight.

Eddie is playing chess out here with the duck. He completely removed AJ from Showtime and now wants to throw 20 mil at Wilder.

Didnt AJ get offered 50 mil by AL and Showtime?

He didn't sign the contract for any fight with AJ ever, that's why it didn't happen. All talk no action, he's turned down his record high purses on multiple occasions for that fight. AJ didn't want Povetkin at all, that was a mandatory not a voluntary, they could have got an exemption for the Wilder fight and done the undisputed fight but Wilder never signed the contract so the governing body called the fight. Also the latter part isn't true, unless Wilder and Shelly are lying again, they had no reason to meet with DAZN if they wouldn't consider taking the fight there, Shelly has also recently come out and said they have no problem the fight being on DAZN, how he has a very close relationship with John Skipper and that would lead to making the fight, he very strongly hinted when the fight happens it will be on DAZN because that's where the money is. The DAZN offer was 120 mil that Wilder turned down, he was getting double what he made for the Breazeale fight in that deal and 50 mil for each AJ fight, yet he turned it down when his highest ever purse so far by a long way is 10 mil. And BT were apparently involved in that money according to Frank Warren, Shelly and other sources so the fight couldn't have happened anyway even if it was a legit offer because AJ has an exclusive contract to Sky Sports in the U.K. It's most likely it was a false offer they knew couldn't be accepted that they just offered so they could say they made an offer, all the evidence points to that, terms/contract was never sent. But after that which is most important other big offers have been made which were all rejected by Wilder and his team, latest being for 120 mil.
