I’m a damn American :mjpls: but the narrative to me has shifted. I thought like many did that AJ didn’t wanna see Wilder but ever since that Draw that was “gifted” to Deontay, his whole demeanor on the AJ fight has seemed to change. Post fight against Brezeale, he chose his words wisely and ina way one could interpret he passive aggressively said he doesn’t want to fight AJ, and the Fury rematch is more realistic be made in the near future.

Didn’t he make a comment outright saying he doesn’t want the fight even if it’s 50/50 or some shyt? Maybe his handlers got in his head saying to hold up on the AJ fight ,but truth is this works perfectly for Femi cause I feel as Wilder gets older and loses his athleticism/reflexes, the chances of him landing that Falcon punch will decrease . Obviously theres a good chance, Wilder Gets King Kong our early but ,shyt Ortiz really could play the spoiler cause he was boxing that nikkas head off before he got stopped. I don’t know sucks loving this sport when Politics as Uaual seem to be at an all time high...

A year or two ago, I would say it’s a true 50/50 fight and the odds of AJ getting starched were probably better than Wilder getting stopped or losing on points. This fight may never happen or maybe it will past it’s “expiration date” like Manny/Floyd... but I don’t a 36-37 year old Wilder doing much to a 32-33 year Anthony Joshua :francis:

So, Eddie never reached out to Haymon and AJ spent 2 years ducking Wilder but Wilder is supposed to be chasing him? What do you guys know about the boxing business?

Take 20 mil to go fight on another network while the fight is a potential 300 mil fight ? :dead:

I agree with Wilder. AJ acting like he can fleece Wilder. They were both on Showtime and Eddie avoided Wilder for all he can. Also DAZN is free but Showtime would want this as a PPV.

DAZN is the new unproven network. They have no time but to bow down to Showtime demands.

Deontay needs to take this fight very seriously.
Its still dangerous.
I hope he doesn't overlook it like he did Fury.

As for AJ, AJ and his fans lost all ability to talk about ducks, when AJ said give me 50 million dollars and Haymon gave him 50 million dollars and he said nah, it isn't about the money.

DAZN has the two biggest cash cows in the sport, their customer service sucks if you have technical issues but beyond that they don't have shyt to prove
If Gary Russell leaves PBC for DAZN for more money I think we have to question if DAZN is the more fighter friendly organization too. They handing money out like it's nothing

Not the fight fans want but at least this is a quality match. I had Ortiz winning before the knockout.
In a way this match is kind of stupid for Wilder. It's incredibly dangerous with basically no upside. Unless he gets $50million+ from this PPV I really don't understand what he or PBC are doing. Dude almost 34 and relies on athleticism, they really don't have time for this shyt imo

This. An Aj vs Ortiz would have been good but in this Wilder got everything to lose

It's amazing how ignorant some of the people are about this situation, it's astounding, you wouldn't think in the age of the internet it would be possible. I guess it's easy to manipulate people with such low level intelligence and herd them like sheep, it's interesting to observe though, how people can be so delusional regardless of all facts.

AJ only fights once a year?

If AJ and Wilder dont fight in 2020 this is some BS.

This last wilder match was a damn sparring match do maybe Wilder thinks Ortiz will he a quick bag? Ortiz aint a cake walk though.

D...D...D...D...DUCKSQUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD:mjcry:

The debate is over, not that there ever was one apart from amongst Wilder fanboys, this man is a coward.:francis:

Exactly, Wilder has always been the 1 ducking, his actions speak for themselves, over 40 fights and 1 credible win, AJ had 22 and already unified and has a much better record. Wilder's whole career is a history of ducking and cherry picking. Since AJ's 15th fight was fighting credible opponents.

U talking about that 15mil they offered, THAT HE ACCEPTED, then they fought povetkin ANYWAY?
Nope. Talking about the meeting Finkel, Haymon and Wilder had with John Skipper, the head of DAZN. $120 million for 3 fights Dominic Breazeale and two fights with AJ.

Most people would take the deal. But if Wilder thought that he could get more than that at least negotiate. Not just leave it.
