If Wilder Ortiz flopped I'm not surprised. I saw very lil interest from people I know in real life, despite the promotion. Despite the first fight being very good, i didn't want this fight. And I'm a fan of both. I wasn't excited at all. I just viewed as a roadblock between the fights I really want. Wilder that nikka, Ortiz is not a star at all. Despite him giving Wilder his most dramatic fight, the first time, he didn't do anything or fight anyone in between that would make casuals excited about a rematch. Fight should of been on free TV without the crazy push. Hopefully they learn from this. People want Wilder Fury, Wilder ruiz, Wilder Joshua. Despite Ortiz being a dope fighter and big threat.

Yeah I don't know him like that so was seeing if anybody else was saying it or just him. He was the guy they interviewed on The Boxing Voice to debunk the other rumour so apparently some people listen to him. Not sure what his source is, we'll probably find if it's true or not before too long anyway if other report the same or contray numbers. Still seems a bit low.

PBC and their PPV's:hhh:

Bring pay-per view quality to regular network television they said:usure:....its amazing how things change and they barely did that before the PPV onslaught this year:stopitslime:

as i said before this rematch is not it...ortiz regressed in the 3 fights since the first fight and has not been impressive

when you struggle in your last fight against a c level heavy that even tyson fury managed to stop, its very telling something is not right

if the numbers for the PPV are on the level..this was the post i put out with my thoughts on this fight back in sept..ortiz didnt do anything in the interim to make ppl think he was a BIG threat with fights he had between the 1st and 2nd fight except show some deterioration

275k? If true yeah that's a flop not surprised no one asked for this fight at all.

Breh that's not a flop. If he convinced 275k to buy a rematch with Ortiz who doesn't even speak English, who he also KO'd in the previous match, that's a success. :mjlol: It's not amazing numbers but I don't think it had any business even getting near that many.

All this talk about PPV numbers is bunk. First of all where are the official numbers. It's been two weeks since the fight and yet we're still getting estimates.

And in the grand scheme of things does it matter? Fight Fury next then fight whoever has the other four belts after. Whether it be Ruiz or Joshua. No excuses.

All you’re going to get is estimates because they don’t release official numbers
