Pretty much its exactly what the manager said..his next 3 fights are Ortiz, Fury, Joshua.Wilder has already been invited to the AJ fight and turned it down, he's fighting Ortiz now so there's no point, fight isn't happening anytime soon, if the reports are correct he'll be fighting Ortiz, Kownacki, Fury (possibly twice) or Whyte and then possibly AJ, which would be hugely disappointing. I could tell from his recent interview with TBV he didn't want the fight and it wasn't happening. If it happens, no guarantee at all now because it's no guarantee AJ would beat Usyk and no guarantee Wilder beats Fury and to a lesser extent Whyte, but if it does the earliest it could possibly be is late 2020, but even that seems optimistic at this point, it could be 2021 or even 2022, or even 2023, it depends how long he decides to duck for. Neither of them are unbeatable, very possible 1 could lose before it happens and they get tied up. To lock himself into this fight is a clear sign he isn't serious about the fight happening and doesn't want it, him and AJ would have both been free after the weekend and could have made this at the end of the year.
And Joshua has to beat the Mexican kid first..so it's not cut and dry.
