How is this a PPV again?
Wilder probably gonna catch him earlier this time, Ortiz just got older and slower. I'm still gonna watch cause Wilder is always vulnerable and Ortiz is still dangerous enough to have some chance of winning so it's not a mismatch... it could be one but Ortiz is still dangerous on paper.

Dangerous fight for Wilder. Could end up costing him a lot of money

Nah, I don't think so. I'm with @reservoirdogs on this. i think Wilder catches him earlier this time. Ortiz boxed the match of his career and still got slumped and he's been REALLLLY unimpressive his last few fights. Maybe he's one to just fight down or up to his level of comp, but that Hammer fight was discouraging.

PBC and their PPV's:hhh:

Bring pay-per view quality to regular network television they said:usure:....its amazing how things change and they barely did that before the PPV onslaught this year:stopitslime:

as i said before this rematch is not it...ortiz regressed in the 3 fights since the first fight and has not been impressive

when you struggle in your last fight against a c level heavy that even tyson fury managed to stop, its very telling something is not right

That's what I feel too. Ortiz started his slide before the first Wilder fight but he really looks done now. Wilder sparks him out early this time, imo.

They really should put this on Fox the weekend before Thanksgiving because that's the college football week where its TERRIBLE games being played the week before rivalry week. Throw Harrison vs Charlo on the undercard, and let that be that

Ortiz had Deontay on Queer Street for reals. If I was handlers , I wouldnt take a fight until the Fury Rematch.

I bought that Showtime subscription to watch boxing on there. But there hasn't been much boxing on there at all lately. PBC/FOX really need to chill with all the PPV events, most of these events would do good numbers on regular TV.

Yeah PBC been doing showtime dirty with the cards they've been giving them.. I understand their decision though, Fox is giving the fighters a lot of exposure and coverage beyond what the premium channels are able to do right now. Build them up on Fox, eventually take them back to Showtime once they build a fan base on basic cable.

So is Showtime done with boxing?
They need to get Paulie on some of these fights or sign Roy.

Wilder should have been fighting on CBS when he was with Showtime to build his fan base. They really haven't been doing much to help him grow as a fighter.
