And lets be honest, Spence doesn't want to fight Bud. At all. :russ:

Just found out it was a breh from Omaha who did it. And he likes France on top of that so now I'm conflicted... :francis:

TERENCE "BUD" CRAWFORD — RDQLUS

Logo still scust:hhh::scust:

:mjlol: the designer's juelzing about how the logo is great and he "stepped his game up"

Maybe if Bud did a T pose like that when he entered the ring, it would have some grab to it but :picard:

Watching the fight now and honestly i still struggle to see the hype around Crawford and his supposed skills, was involved in too many scuffles with wild swings for a supposed skilled fighter. I feel he has no power and think Spence can overwhelm down the stretch.

-Great fight.

-Porter did well. Some people saying he wasn't his usual aggressive self, but I think he still dictated the pace early and respected Bud's power later in the fight, which was why he kinda lost his groove. Great fight to end career on, no matter taking the L.

-Crawford so good at analyzing what is going on, switched southpaw when needed and was effective, stepped on the gas when the fight could be questionable and came out successful.

-Porter was lunging hard at the end with his dead down after throwing, you could see what was coming.

-Gave Porter more of the earlier rounds, had Crawford up a round going into round 10 and looking like he would snatch the rest of em. So had no problem with the stoppage, despite Porter looking alert and ready to go another knockdown.. If Porter was gaining momentum or looking like he could win the last rounds to argue for a decision I woulda been upset.

-His dad didn't give him any props in the interview, but Porter didn't argue it, and specifically in the post fight press conference he was okay with it, knowing he wanted to retire and his aim was to get out of boxing on the more healthy side. Not mad at his dad at all, and I'm sure behind closed doors he let him know he was hella proud of him, and his whole career.

-Crawford will beat Spence in my mind, thought that for awhile.

-Canelo still P4P king.

That's not it...Spence back in 2019 had a plan...he wanted Manny after Mikey and then Porter to have all the belts and then call out Crawford. Common sense. Now they hiding Ugas from him..lol

Anyway

Kenny did the right thing, just wasn't a fan how he let it out about training and preparation. Shawn mind wasn't there and would have gotten hurt had it gone any further. He was lunging like a idiot consistently and it would have ended brutally had he let it go on for another knockdown. Going out on your shield is massively overrated. Pounding the mat after u got knocked down shows me he would have kept making the same mistakes

Exactly.

I'm not a trainer and what I saw through that fight was Crawford catching Porter with the same uppercut every time he lunged in.

The result was worse because Crawford got a better sense of timing and the body shots slowed Porter down.

Punching the mat in frustration told me that his head was no longer in the fight. He lost composure. It wouldn't have been a situation where he tried surviving whilst looking for openings. He'd have rushed him again, thinking that he could turn things around.

It was a good stoppage.

Imagine if Kenny had let a technical coach takeover at some point. Porter got to world level off his aggression and athleticism.

And on the stoppage that was a dad stopping the fight because he didn't want to see his son hurt not a head coach

Not sure what you were watching but he was able to do something that no other fighter was able to do and that's hurt Porter.
