Crawford isn't bigger outside of Dallas either. He is barely known.

Man, y’all talking like dude was out on his feet when the fight was stopped. It was 5-4 on 2 of the judges scorecards and yes, they were clean knockdowns but this “man, you know what was about to happen. It was gonna be brutal” nonsense needs to stop. You let him come to the corner and you give him a chance to make an adjustment. You can stop the fight anytime you think your fighter is in grave danger. It never once looked like that with Porter. He gets knocked down all the time. And if this is his last fight you surely give him a bit more leeway. He’s not a 20 year old taking severe damage with a full career ahead him where you throw the towel in and accept Crawford was the better man. It was a competitive fight, he never looked severely hurt and these are the last 3 rounds of his career. Crawford is a great fighter and a level above Porter, but Porter is great too and was owed a much better ending to his career from his corner than waving the white flag.

I don’t see why people can’t see what the stoppage was really about. If he was so disgusted with Shawns training, he should have stepped down. He saw the fight was competitive without Shawn doing everything he wanted during camp and stopped the fight the first chance he could so he could say “I told you so”

Good fight indeed very enjoyable, love the styles clash. The fight was no white wash Shawn did great against Crawford that man has grit, I felt for him after the second knockdown. Crawford did fantastic he earned this victory.

Shawn's father pulling the plug early robbed Bud of his moment imo. That's what makes it unsettling.

Kenny did the right thing, just wasn't a fan how he let it out about training and preparation. Shawn mind wasn't there and would have gotten hurt had it gone any further. He was lunging like a idiot consistently and it would have ended brutally had he let it go on for another knockdown. Going out on your shield is massively overrated. Pounding the mat after u got knocked down shows me he would have kept making the same mistakes
