Bought me a walking pad so I can start getting these in during one session.

Played a 12 minute quarter game of 2K, upped the speed of the pad during timeouts and didn't automatically skip past the cut scenes like I normally do. Ended up hitting over 10k in about a hour and a half yesterday. Going to try to get this in at least 3-4 times a week, in addition to still hitting the treadmill and stair master at the gym.

I barely move at work :flabbynsick:

Idk what your work set up is like but if you work corporate, try getting a desk with a treadmill attached. Use it while taking calls and you’ll be surprised how many steps you’ll get it.

My dad’s friend got one last year and dropped like 25 lbs using it daily with no major changes to his diet.

I don't work from home unfortunately. If I did, I'd be doing like Ole boy in the treadmill thread and walking that bytch for 6 hours a day 🤣

You gotta clear your head. Sometimes that takes time.

And you are doing it right. Rather than sit on the couch and play the game, or watch a movie, do it while walking. If you get tired, walk slower, when you need to bump up the speed. When your thirsty drink, you gotta piss, piss. Hell I've eaten my lunch while walking.

Got my fit bit on the way. I think I’ll still use my Apple watch when I play soccer/cycle but at work I’ll wear my Tag Heuer and the fitbit.

Apple watch I got for free but it’s an older model. Let me get more usage out of it until I think about an upgrade.

You might not need an upgrade, probably does the same shyt the new one does.

If ppl are going to invest, invest in a pedometer.

You can get cheap ones (Amazon) that clip on to your show or you can put them in your front pocket, the accelerometer tracks the movement and counts.

Or you can get expensive ones with Bluetooth that sync to your devices. And work with apple fit/android health and shyt.

I prefer to have the higher end/more premium product when it comes to tech. I’ll go for the macbook pro over and air. Just my preference.

The Apple watch SE I got as a “gift” was really just me taking an apple watch off my boy because he couldn’t/didn’t know the owner :russ:

I was at his crib one day and he was like

“Phcitywarrior, did you leave your apple watch here? I found it in my couch and I’ve been holding onto it for months now”

I was like yea, good looks. Meanwhile I had never even tried on Apple Watch before.

Mind you this incident was like 14 months ago. I finally went to an apple store a few months back, bought a charger, brought the watch back to life and reset it.

Still in my early trial days with this one.

Now this I’d like. I wonder if they have ones that are more discreet. I dress corporate so maybe something I can clip inside the legs of my pants.

I feel you. I like tech too, it ain't for everybody. And I'm staunchly against the notion of having to buy in before one begins or maintains a goal. That leaves too much of an opening for people to be like "fukk it".

Tech should enhance or aid in your experience not be the trigger for one to start or continue.

But some people are really about their money. If I buy a $200 watch, I'm using that bytch, at minimum 200 times. I figure, would I pay a dollar to use this? If I buy a subscription service, I'm the same way. Would I pay $1-2 to use this? And if it's $40 a month, I'll use it 20 times at least.

That’s why I want to ensure I get full use out of the one I have now. If after a year I find myself using it often, I’ll “upgrade” to the premium one.
