Apologies for the delay in update here

I've been getting over an injury and gradually building back up.

Yesterday I banged out 50 total in two separate sets so I will hopefully be back to full capacity within 2 weeks max. The L-Glutamine has helped a LOT.

We'll see what my family says on x-mas but I already see the difference even though I have not been consistent daily

I think to make the goal more achievable let's just say you have to do 10,000 push ups in 6 months and a maximum of 2 days rest in between your last 100 set. If you get injured (like me) and take 2 weeks off or light, add 1000 push ups to the goal.

Also something that the other thread made me realize - If you are under 175lbs this challenge is worthless.

It is generally for my fellow brehs 200lbs+

Body weight exercise is only strenuous when you are clocking in generally at 175lbs or above as a Male.

How is it worthless if your under 175? If you are 105lbs or 275lbs and don't have the strength, stamina or endurance to complete 100 push-ups with a significant number in a row, like 40-60 then you are lacking in strength, stamina and endurance and of course you can improve that.

Because push-ups is like supporting half of your body weight. So if you like 300lbs your two arms gotta support like 150lbs, and 100lbs if you are 200lbs total.

When I was 165lbs I could bust out 100 push ups easy because I only had to support 80lbs. The extra 20lbs matters and builds up stress over reps.

So theoretically we can increase the reps for lighter nikkas but there are other exercises I would recommend for them including using actual weights beyond their body weight.

When I was slimmer I used to use the wrist and ankle weights to add difficulty.
