BP got way too many people talking reckless. Reminds me of the bloggers on Twitter claiming RDJ deserved a Oscar for Civil War :mjlol::beli: They're doing the same shyt for Brolin/Thanos & MBJ/Killmonger :heh:.

Joker on screen was unpredictable and you actually felt it. You never knew what he was going to do when he was on screen.
Right, i made a comment in another thread about BP's fight scenes being lackluster and someone said Black Panther didn't need great fight scenes to be great, but the DC movies need spectacular fight scenes just to make them tolerable. :hhh:

Yea that man of steel might be the most underrated super hero movie of all time. That young clark wrapping that truckers rig around that pole tho
Yeah that was actually pretty stupid.

MoS has its good share of good scenes it absolutely blows away Superman Returns, I actually forgot about that movie maybe one of the most useless super hero movies of all time.

Few takes.

BP was kind of a let down for me, I really like most of the movie but the climax reminds me of a Star Wars end battle. Especially with the white dude shooting down those ships and the big ass rhinos. Just reminded me of a Star Wars prequel scene. The originality and creativity was lacking big time there and for me brings BP down but I know the sequel will improve the action and cgi.

Logan is still my favorite since TDK because it's more of a drama, I don't need big ass space and army battles to satisfy me anymore, as I've gotten older I prefer more methodical paced and tightly shot films with grit.

TDK however is far from perfect with some plot holes that bother me to this day but that's just Nolan trying to do too much and being too smart for his own good.

I remember watching it and thinking it wasnt severe enough retribution for a man that throws beer in your face. I wanted Clark to beat the ever living fukk out of that man. There's a part in that movie where Kevin Spacey asks a young Clark if beating up one of his childhood tormentors would "make him feel better" and I instantly yelled at the screen "yes the fukk it would!"
I think the one of the most underrated parts of MoS was when Clark snaps Zod's neck after he refuses to surrender, then screams because he knows he's killed the last living Kryptonian that isnt him.:mjcry:

I think BP needed just one of three possible things for it be the GOAT.

Either it needed Winter Soldier level action, Infinity War level CGI or a Denzel in Training Day type performance as Killmonger.

Thats how close it was to surpassing TDK.

I thought MBJ was very good. However, he needed to be all time great to give that character the type of reverence it needed. The thing that makes TDK so great and memorable is that Ledger's character was

If they kept the action grounded at the very end and it was WInter Soldier level in the 3rd act.... I would have considered it GOAT.

Or if the CGI they tried was Infinity War level....it would have been the GOAT.

Ledger's performance is absolutely stand-out incredible. That sticks out a LOT.

But the rest of the cast in Black Panther is actually better than the cast in The Dark Knight. Perhaps that was by design, but like I said, some of the lines and deliveries in TDK were literally cringe-worthy. That courtroom scene at the beginning? The fat guy in the jail? "I won't even die from this height"? Harvey Dent/Two-Face in pretty much the whole movie?

The action in BP was good enough for me, that's not a big factor.

The CGI for me isn't a factor at all.

See this is where people go overboard.

The ACTION scenes did not suck. The opening fight in Africa, the casino fight, car chase, waterfall fights???? None of those were bad.

However, I guess its true that if a movie doesn't end strong people will act like the entire movie had flawed action.

It’s also opinion man. You can’t tell another man or woman that something didn’t suck if they think it did lol. It is what it is. No need to get your blood pressure up because someone doesn’t like something you love or vice versa.

The only thing I didn’t like was how rushed defeating the Joker was , if you didn’t pay attention closely you’d get confused

Batman Begins is more rewatchable to me.

Spider Man 2 is the GOAT comic book movie imo.
