I bootlegged both. Liked Graduation better
50 could've released Illmatic and it wouldn't have mattered at that point. His career was based on belittling his peers and he often used sales to justify his W's. Well, Game and Ross applied pressure. There was also Cam. It wasn't looking for 50 Cent from '06 forward. Ross should've been ended. As dope as Deeper Than Rap was, Ross was declining. It should've been nothing for 50 to end him. What happens? Ross not only walks away unscathed, but becomes one of the biggest rappers in the game. Dude even got a Dre feature when 50 was complaining that Dre wouldn't mix his records. And there's this:
Curtis sold more worldwide which people be leaving out of the story
Did it? What were the world wide numbers for both?
this video from 2012 fif and ross beef was in like 08
lol if 50 would have released disses on ja rule levels ross would be done
lol ross shouted out macazoe every video then macazoe was on yayos mixtape saying fukk ross they handled that beef poorly 50 shoulda been the one to deliver that blow alot of people dont even know that happened
50 put out a hit like indaclub he woulda went
ross never been platinum to even challenge a high level 50
50 just fell off
man ross dont get credit for that body lol fifty wasnt putting out good music ja rule was lol and nikkas said fukk jaThat's a lot of "ifs" and what he should've, would've, could've done. The fact is after the disses, Ross thrived and 50 continued to plummet. People say 50 destoryed Ja's career (when you could easily say Ja was falling off too, but was still platinum and had hits). Using that logic, Ross finished what was left of 50's career.
No he wouldn't. The diss tracks from 50 towards Ja were not effective because of the quality of the tracks, but because of Ja rule's r&b thug rapper persona being perceived as something abhorrent in the eyes of the streets, hip-hop heads, and the male audience in general. In point, Ja was an easy target. All 50 had to do to strike a serious blow was call him a pop artist, make fun of his singing, and say he's a fake thug. I'd argue anybody with some recognition could've hurt Ja in that era by doing the same thing, 50 just happen to be the first one to knock his hustle in that way.lol if 50 would have released disses on ja rule levels ross would be done
I mean 50's only produced garbage that hasn't sold since then....@ Kanye ending 50s career that could never be the case that's funny tho
From what I remember Curtis sold 5 million albums worldwide, Kanye sold 2 or 3. I could be wrong but that's what I remember.

curtis sold 3 mill world wideNo... Fif was just mad he lost I think. Graduation almost did 3mil in the states alone.
damn time really does fly by remember 50 said he would retire if Kanye outsold him, he was never the same Megastar again
Edit: In before 50 stans assemble
