Basically this. I'm from Queens. At 10 years old, on my bike, i could be anywhere between Southside Jamaica, Laurelton, Hollis or Union turnpike. I was walking a mile to/from school everyday at 8 years old.

You must be in your early 30s or something… Our neighborhood store was a mile away at least for a lot of us. It was nothing for us to get sent to the store to get something dolo….. This was like at 9/10
