Again...you said Fitz is more a career norm than Marshalls season.

:russ:

Well, it was. He's hovered around slightly below average to slightly above his entire career. Marshall's consistently had the benefit of being heavily targeted. This was one of his best in terms of catching most of those targets. Not difficult.

So the first half of our schedule is the hardest in the league. The red below is a "predicted opponent wins". We're basically facing a murderer's row of the best teams in the NFL our first 7 weeks. Look at all that red:

yeah the league really didn't do us any favors. I guess maybe Brady actually has to serve his 4 games and evens things out for the division, but I doubt it.

The Jets played the easiest schedule last year, the pendulum was bound to swing the other direction.

Like I said, best case is the Jets being 5-5 at the bye(LA, @MIA, @CLE, @BUF, BAL). Much more realistic is the Jets being 3-7 at the bye, staring a 5-11/6-10 season in the face.

Basically we have a few options here. I'd be fine with resigning Mo next year and letting Fitzpatrick walk and positioning ourselves for a top 5 pick with this schedule and the rookie/bad QB. Or we resign Fitz and try and squeeze out 9-10 wins and make the playoffs. What annoys me is the mouthbreathers pretending he doesnt make a big difference for this offense when considering the current alternatives.

The schedule thing is so dumb. Nfl teams literally flip half their roster every year they aren't the same teams.

The only teams you can guarantee year to year will be good are the ones with great qbs like a Brady or Rodgers otherwise it's a crapshoot

If Bryce Petty is starting its not longer a crapshoot, it's a mess.

As do I. I also like Fuller too. Wouldn't mind either. We could always use another weapon

I prefer Coleman. He's an Odell Beckham type athlete with inferior hands that, unlike Fuller, gets open at all levels consistently. Fuller is more of a limited deep threat than an all-around threat like Coleman. Replacing Kerley win Coleman is like replacing a Honda with a Ferrari in terms of playmaking ability.
