Petty or Geno.

No playoffs = no playoffs

Young player getting reps to find out who he is to our future > a journeyman old man who we know he is

You really need this spelled out and then have the nerve to purposely not get it

We've seen Geno already and we know he's not a starter so I'm not sure why we're still belaboring this when the team itself has moved on.

Petty probably can't play. But if they want to play him signing guys like Clady and Forte make little sense.

Fitzpatrick is average and played pretty much to his career numbers last year.

So it's basically stink and suck it up or try and win with Fitzpatrick

It's more the contract than the pick. But daft picks just playing in a general win for the team because they're cheap. Maccagnans probably screwed up the cap so bad we have no other choice to move Mo or let him walk...which sucks.

The Clady signing is fine when you look at it in a vacuum, but with the overall moves we've made this looks like Tannenbaum territory.
but he's not JJ Watt so who cares?

I've seen Geno as a starter throwing to NBA D leaguers and coached by shyt. Why go there again?

Fitz is a below average qb that was a one read and run qb all season who lived off a receivers catch radius.

Anyone who is still talking about Fitz starting here after seeing our upcoming schedule is either stupid or biased and not worth entertaining either. Fitz's QB rating against Buffalo was 42. Last year Cincy, Seattle, Kansas City, Arizona etc all had better ranking offenses and defenses than Buffalo.

Marshall just had his best season of his career from an efficiency standpoint. If anyone had an outlier year it was him, not Fitz. His catch rate was the best of his career. Fitz was above his career average but nothing crazy outlierish. Obviously schedule strength contributed to that...but still the biggest uptick in having a functional offense was obviously the QB.

And Marshall career year was more a byproduct of Gailey than Fitz errant throws you continue to overlook.

Lol at last season being more indicative of Fitz career than 100 tds for his career Marshall!!

Fitz sucked against Buffalo, Houston and Philly defenses, let alone any other teams whom have equally as good defenses as the aforementioned and/or better offenses.. On paper our team with Fitz under centre cannot beat the likes of Arizona, Seattle, Kansas City, Cincy, etc. Fitz under centre here can't even beat the same Buffalo team Dalton and crew crushed to the tune of 34 points! Marshall number's with Fitz against the weakest schedule in the league mean nothing in context.

Marshall's been the most heavily targeted wide receiver basically ever. Stop confusing volume with production. If Marshall put up those efficiency numbers that he had last year over the entire course of his career he's probably top 5 ever.

Views From The X

Sources close to the situation tell me the New York Jets made a serious offer to the Tennessee Titans for the initial pick of the draft. Those with knowledge of the situation tell me the team was close to getting the deal done.

I’m told it is believed veteran defensive lineman Muhammad Wilkerson was part of the deal.

And while many in the New York area dismissed my initial report earlier this week over the New York Jets being dark horses for trading to the top of the draft, it was revealed within 24 hours of the report that Jared Goff would be making an official visit to the franchise. Goff won’t be make it past the fourth pick of the draft.

Will the Jets continue to attempt to move up into the early reaches of round one? Sources tell me they believe so but much depends on who the Los Angeles Rams ultimately select with the first pick in two weeks time.

Again...you said Fitz season was more a career norm than Marshalls season.
